Updates. After Rams talk maan realizes how possessive protective geet is if Annie. She cannot see her Bacha hurt. Right now Yash’s frame of mind is not ok. But sad that in all this maaneet have to be separated

Geet is frustrated on what going on she want some relaxation and keep hr Annie too away from this environment first Maan protest but after he remember ram word's of sisters possessiveness about each Other I think he agree with Geet

Maan was in his thoughts when there was a knock on the door. The nurse came and said that Dr. Mishra is calling him in ultrasound room. Maan put his doctor’s coat and left for ultrasound room. When he reached the room he found apprehensive Dr. Vijaylakshmi, nervous Matron from Gynaecological ward, an extremely agitated looking Adi and off course his confident Mishty. “What is the problem?”

“Maan, please meri Pinky ko baccha lo.” (Maan, please save my Pinky.) Adi spoke as if about to collapse.

“Adi, please go and wait outside. I’ll understand the case and come to you. Nurse, please guide Mr. Srivastav towards cafeteria.” Adi was forced to follow nurse.

Once Adi left, Maan first time saw that Pinky was unconscious and Geet was checking her heartbeats. Maan again asked, “What is the problem, Dr. Chandrashekhar?”

Geet spoke, “Dr. Khurana, its an emergency surgery as the tumour is as big as a size of golf ball which is sapping patients all nutrition thereby making her weak and now bleeding has started as well. Also due to the size of tumour, “false positive” for pregnancy was also detected. We need to go in (operate) at once as patient is extremely weak her heart is vulnerable therefore we need your help.”

“Then what are we waiting for? Matron, prepare OT and lets suit up. I’ll go and talk to patient’s husband in the meantime.” Maan left for cafeteria and ordered black coffee for himself and regular coffee for Adi. “Adi what is worrying you the most?” Adi kept quite. Maan continued, “You are worried that Pinky is getting operated? Or you are worried that Pinky will not make it through.”

“I’m worried if Pinky does not.......”

“Adi, what you are fearing of happening is higher if we don’t operate.”

“WHAT?”

“Yes. Tumour maybe malignant i.e. cancerous or benign i.e. non cancerous but it has to be removed from Pinky’s body for her health and long life. Now you decide what should be done?”

“Fine. I agree for Pinky’s surgery.” Both men gulped down their coffee and left for the waiting room of OT.

Matron was waiting for Adi’s signatures on surgery forms. As soon as Adi came, nurse handed him the forms. While Adi was signing the forms, Maan slipped out to change into his operating scrubs. Maan was taking out his watch and other metal items when Geet walked in. Looking at Maan she said, “Kya aap ‘yeh’ (pointing to the mangalsutra) humare gale se nikaal saktein hain?” (Can you please remove ‘this’ (pointing to the mangalsutra) from my neck?)

Maan took out the mangalsutra from Geet’s neck and put it in his drawer along with his personal items. Geet hugged Maan and both left.

Location: Operation Theatre (OT)of Dhanvantri Hospital

Dr. Vijaylakshmi and Geet were in the OT and Maan was on call. Anaestheologist was on standby as Pinky was still unconscious.

Geet started the surgery and half an hour into the surgery as was expected patient started sinking i.e. heart beat started reducing.

Dr. Vijaylakshmi was assisting Geet and asked matron, “Call Dr. Khurana SOS.” Maan entered and immediately stabilized the patient. Half an hour later (an hour after surgery), Geet found the tumour and it was larger than they expected. Slowly and carefully Geet sliced tumour from the surrounding uterine lining so minimum harm is done to the uterine lining. Three hour later (four hours after surgery), Geet finally the sutured (sitched) the incision in Pinky’s pelvic region, bringing relief on faces of Dr. Vijaylakshmi and Maan. “Thank you Dr. Khurana for your prompt action in stabilizing the patient. I suggest you brief the patient’s husband. Matron assist Dr. Khurana.” Dr. Vijaylakshmi thanked Maan and ordered the matron. Maan threw his soiled gloves in the medical trash and looked towards Geet and found her swaying, alarming Maan and Dr. Vijaylakshmi. Maan rushed and supported Geet.

“Anjali, I grant you a months off from Monday as you wanted. You desperately need physical and mental rest.” Maan put his arm around Geet and guided her outside OT. Meanwhile, Dr. Vijaylakshmi started ordering OT nurses. When Maan and Geet were nearing the trash bin, Geet stopped Maan. Geet threw her surgical gown and gloves in the medical trash bin and came out of the Operation Theatre (OT) with Maan.

Maan took Geet to his cabin as now they did not need to hide their relationship. Maan requested a junior lady doctor to get Geet’s clothes. Once her clothes came, Geet went to shower in Maan’s personal washroom. Geet realised that her “mangalsutra” is still with Maan and she needs to wear it before she enters Khurana Mansion. After showering and donning a pair of fresh clothes, she felt like a new person. She came out of washroom and entered Maan’s cabin where Adi was sitting. Maan had ordered coffee and snacks for all of them. Before Geet could say anything, matron came in Maan’s cabin and said, “Dr. Mishra, patient has regained consciousness.”

“Please give ******5mg by IV as she is not on any anaesthesia! Also let patient’s husband meet the patient for precisely 2mins. Matron suit up Mr. Srivastav before he meets his wife.”

“Yes Doctor.” Matron left with Adi.

Looking at Maan, Geet said, “Humara Mangalsutra?” Maan took it out of his drawer and put it around her neck. Then Maan hugged Geet and she rested her head on Maan’s muscular chest. “Aap humari “shakti” hain. Kabhi bhi hummein apne se dur matt kariyega.” (You are my strength. Never ever send me away from you.)

“Mai dur kar raha hoon ki tum.....” (I’m not sending you away but you.......) There was a knock, Maan and Geet moved away from each other.

Adi had knocked and entered Maan’s cabin. “How is Pinky?” Maan asked.

“In lot of pain but she says that the dense and hard sensation she had is gone.” Adi answered wiping sweat from his brow.

“Good. Now in a week’s time she will feel more comfortable and energetic. Bhaiya, Pinky’s tumour was larger than what ultrasound showed that’s why surgery took so long. Also the surgery was correct coarse of action.”

“Yes I understand. Maan explained to me. Geet thank you for saving.........” Adi finally broke down.

Maan went near Adi and calmed him. “Yeh kya yaar? Tu toh bade se bada financial scams aur embezzlements handle kar leta hai. Toh aaj.........” (What is this man? You can handle toughest of toughest financial scams and embezzlements. Then why today.......)

“Maan, uske liye mera dimag mujhe solution deta. Magar aaj mera dil ko dard ho raha thaa.” (Maan, for that my brain guides me. But today my heart was in pain.)

“Bhaiya, hum jaante hain. Magar apne pyaar ko apni shakti banna chahiye naa ki apni kamzori.” (Bhaiya, I’m aware of your pain. But make love your strength not your weakness.) Seeing Adi still serious, Geet said in a light manner, “Accha abb bahut serious battein ho gayeen hain. Humne aapko apna “Bhai” toh banna liye Adi bhaiya kintu aapne koi ‘bhai’ wala kaam abhi tak nahi kiya.” (Alright now enough of seriousness. You have become my ‘brother’ but have not done any duty as my brother.)

“Kya matlab?” (What do you mean?)

“Matlab yeh ki kal aap ek “Bhai” ki tehre Khurana Mansion aayenge aur hummein humari “pag pheron” ki rasam ke liye Gharonda (Mishra Residence) le jaayenge. Manzoor?” (What I mean is that tomorrow like a “brother” you will come to Khurana Mansion for my “pag phera” ceremony and then drop me at Gharonda (Mishra Residence). Agree? )

“Haan manzoor.” (Agreed.) Adi said with a smile.

“Chaliye abb hum sab ghar chalte hain.” (Come now lets all go home.)

“Magar........” (But........)

“Bhaiya, Pinky bhabhi aaj poori raat soyenge painkillers ke kaaran. Iss liye abhi aap Khurana Mansion chaliye aur rest kijiye.” (Bhaiya, Pinky bhabhi will be sedated whole night with strong painkillers. Therefore come with us to Khurana Mansion and rest.)

“Magar......” (But........)

“Koi agar-magar nahi. Ghar chal yaar. Dadimaa aur Dad tujhe dekh kar bahut khush honge.” (No ifs and buts. Come home with me. Dadimaa and Dad will be ecstatic on seeing you at home.) Maan put his muscular arm around Adi. Maan took Adi with him while exhausted Geet followed.
