This is actually cute and I don’t think it was scripted. Sana has earlier too smelled and hugged at Siddharth’s tee when he had gone for treatment etc. She feels his physical presence with these tiny keepsakes. I am sure those with partners have done or still do similar stuff. I have too. Balraj pointing it out brought it into the camera’s purview or Sana would have been simply happy wearing his tee shirt and having Sid Teddy with her 😆 to hug into night whenever she slept over.
