Ok, finished watching the rest.....the epi took a different turn later on with the storyline of the shaheed officer.....but again, very poignantly and nicely shown.

The whole scene when Col is sitting with his jawaans around a bonfire with Jagjit singh ke songs playing on the radio was so naturally shown 👏.....and then the switch to the cost of sacrificing your life for the country. Rarely do shows manage to show such things without forced jingoism aajkal.....heartening to see it nicely in this epi.

Last Sumo-Shravan scene was again a natural one....Sumo being emotional over the news of the shaheed officer and Shravan instinctively wanting to console her before backing off with an awkward sorry.....lol@ his sister guilt tripping him into going and saying sorry to Sumo.

It really is true that Sumo's opinions and words leave big impacts on Shravan....like her pointing out what a phenku he is shamed him for a bit in front of his friend......and then later on when she again lashed out at him in the last scene since he was being so callous about the news of the army officers ki deaths......but in both cases, Shravan didn't try to show faltu ka attitude but sir jhuka ke chala gaya when she told him to get out.....lol

Precap mein the drama teacher is telling them to create chemistry with each other since they are doing a romantic play🤣.....the way both of them are glaring at each other while sitting in some cafe is hilarious😆....aise toh ho gayi chemistry😆

just finished watching and agree with everything aaj ka highlight was the sensitivity with which they handled the whole shaheed jawan issue and how the army families delt with it. i am amazed at how normal and realistic it was it had so much emotion without any bhashans on desh bhakti or ott drama of the widow ek dum sensible short and to the point but moving. i really liked the last sumo sharavan scene too where i did connected with both sumo and shravan and their reaction to the news. I get it that it was a sad situation and shravan should've shown more sensitivity and it's not like cuhnews don't make civilians emotional or angry nah not at all but then iss tarah toh koi bhi jee na paaye given how much negativity is around and aisi aur isse milti julti kitni khabrein har roz sunane main aati hai. it's sad that all this has made people in general so behiss in a sense that everybody is like whatever until it's not happening to me it's good . *sigh*

So true....duniya mein ab itni tragedies badh gayi hain ki jeena bhi mushkil lagta hai if you don’t find coping mechanisms.

Shravan ke case mein I think it was more like a general carefree and self absorbed vibe about the news because he hasn’t felt that loss first hand in life ever. Sumo has with losing her uncle....and growing up in an army family makes it more personal. The contrast was nicely shown.

aww they are lovely ❤️ i just love what they have between them also i really appreciate the lack of pervertness and lustiness in their interactions. yes he has strong feelings for her but he is not forcing himself on her or forcing her to feel for him or touching her all wierdly or looking at her creepily. rare to find something like this aajkal

What i am enjoying the most about this show so far is how relatable it is *touchwood* it all seems natural nothing out of the ordinary or put on.

The first scene LOL i thought sumo would kick shravan out of the bike well she did eventually kick him out of the house but hahaha that scooty scene was soo enjoyable and hilarious🤣 Shravan ne kitne acche se samjhaya suman ko about why he flirts!😂 and getting army example everywhere😆 So matter of factly told her ki woh rare species hai no ego or anything but straightforward boldiya😂 and Sumo was so meh about not being in that list but her face brightened up a bit at rare species😂

Bunty trying to impress suman LMAO. But shravan truly is such a fheku master. LOL bura phansa Sumo was in no mood to spare him. It hit him pretty badly the tum bharose ke layak nai ho. No attitude bas sar jhuka ke khada raha.

Then later on the episode took an emotional turn which was handled so maturely and with respect. OTT dramatics actually make these things as cinematic troupes whereas here it was given the respect it deserved theraav and space. One could feel it. It was a very executed moment!👍🏼

Shravan when he came to apologize he did look a bit worried seeing her cry and later on what he said was in a way natural did u know him. We all in a way programme ourselves like that otherwise it would became a very depressing place to live.

Suman on her part was also right given where she came from. Even that was done quite well:)

Word on what they have between them being so rare and hatke for ITV. His hug was totally platonic and friendly even though he clearly has feelings for her....but he manages to be both honest about his feelings and still be her friend as she wishes.

The actor playing RD does such a good job of showing his emotions for Nia through his eyes and then switching to light banter.

I guess now that Nia has left her job, she may help out more with the travel agency and her and RD will spend more time together.


Waise what are your thoughts on the way Nia left her job? I thought it was all still so realistically shown. Everyone’s POV was understandable. Any company would question the way Nia keeps running off to handle Amber ka drama in the middle of a big meeting. At the same time, her friends do have their own careers and jobs to do. And Nia’s POV is fair too that she felt her work being credited to someone else is demeaning to her. Kabir was right in his own place as the boss who has to answer to his superiors even as he wants to support Nia as a friend. Complicated situation thi and Nia made an impulsive decision in hurt and anger. Bilkul apne dad pe hi gayi hai 😆

Word. I also found it interesting in the last scene that Sumo initially felt bad and apologized for being so abrupt with him when he first tried to talk to her. She called him back when he was about to leave....kitna natural tha without any faltu ka drama or intention. It managed to convey that even though he irritates her, she is a girl with a strong code of ethics and will apologize if she feels she did something wrong....also she may not admit it yet but she does seek his company subconsciously. Woh baat aur hai that later he managed to offend her even more and she told him to get out 😆

I loved that the show managed to balance the serious and light moments so nicely. The news about the jawaan made things sad and emotional but everyone’s reactions were nicely shown without faltu ka tamasha.

Shravan’s reaction was totally normal for how most people who aren’t directly affected would take this....change the channel and distract yourself to avoid being sad.

It’s amazing how the show is naturally presenting all POVs.

Yes, Sumo saying he isn’t worthy of trust did pinch Shravan....I feel like this will come into play long term as their relationship evolves. Him earning her trust will be a turning point for them.
