Well I think had they given proper ss and meaningful scenes with leads to Viraj since start, ye pehle hi hojata. Abhi to they have not even touched his backstory to ye hai. Ekta is master of creating a mess of her own shows. She loves to leave potentially good actors and good tracks half baked and move to some new shit. Khair I think Namik proved himself ,so I rest my case! 😊

Last week Trp contribution was only by Namik. I am happy that his acting is magic in numbers even he has not been given proper ss.

Last week there were a lot of promotions as well so that may have helped as well

Promotion I think helps more in tv trp. But still that could be a factor, but cant be the sole reason from no. 7 to no. 3 that too when ye rishte had the much awaited wedding. But my point is they totally underestimated Namik and his talent. Didn't give him any chance to perform except the last week. So yea kind of their loss.

They didnt underestimate him they knew his capability and thats why he wasnt given scope thats how it works in this show ...

Bold - Completely agreeing with this part. But then, mata's obsession with iconic villains are a known fact. Namik atleast was lucky enough to have got a 2months time. Because, last time with Vikrant (the character which she earlier had casted Namik; but then pulled him to Kawach) she did the same thing. I think Shivpuri hardly got 2weeks time and same like now his character too got scrapped in a hurry. We still are not sure whether Vikrant is still alive or not. And as soon as Shivpuri exited, Komo's track too got over, after which mata's *edited* track started. I hope now you got the pattern and why his potential was not used to the fullest. 😊

Underlined - The last 2 weeks ratings do belong to Namik and his chemistry with the trio as well. It's not because of the promotions only. It was also because of the change in track too. KZK coming back in UK charts after a long time, is the proof of it. So, as i have mentioned in my thread on Namik, this 2weeks for sure was enough to prove his range as an actor and i am sure that this will indeed be another feather on his cap.

In that case, they should keep on giving articles and promos. I am sure costs less than paying a new actors salary. (:
