Imagine when such news have international coverage.🤔
I cant debate over what should be relevant proof of citizenship that is something which should be decided by law.
Emphasis should be given dangerous part because that is a serious issue. If citizen have rights they should perform duties as well and having appropriate documents of citizenship is and should be must. From 90s to present we have come a long way... its highly questionable if someone doesn't have documents. for me thats a serious red flag.
Honestly, i am not sure what misinformation Amit Shah spread as compared to Swara.
Overall, We all should stand by and support any act which strengthens nation security.
You should be debating upon relevant proof before they become a law as in NRC. You cannot ask citizens to prove their citizenship without ever providing a document to them that states so. Whatever the government has provided to their citizens till date has become irrelevant to prove their citizenship now. The system is flawed from their end and now they want the people to suffer cause of the same. There are countless people who were born before the 90's and they will be affected too It is not just after 90 also lack of education can keep people uninformed which can also be the basis of not having a birth certificate. Our communication system wasn't as good as it is now. Even then it is not hundred percent effective to reach everyone. I cnt even imagine the life back in the 90's and how difficult it was to reach everyone with relevant information. Also the n number of clerical mistakes in documents u will find here. A lot of people suffered in Assam NRC cus of spelling mistakes in their document. Thats how bad it can get.
He spoke about NRC without a draft also stated what are not valid proofs of citizenship and all of that without having any discussion with anyone in the government like stated by PM.
We should stand for the people of this country along with the security of the country. Any ill conceived plan should be questioned and demanded to be rectified. Thats also a duty of a citizen not just blindly agree with the government. Like I said NRC lao but be very mindful of the flawed system in place before asking for proofs. Don't want a second Assam like situation where people had to sell their everything to fight their cases in courts.
Riots can happen. People's patience is finished now. Democracy ke naam pe mazak banake rakh diya hai.
Anyone else likes Chello Kebab? I haven't had these since ages now.

I don't have credible qualifications to debate on determining what should be considered as a relevant proof. That is something qualified lawyers should do.
System is not flawed per se its the corruption and the vested interests at play here. Amy law abiding citizen should not worry.
You are hyper focused over one set of people, unable to address on how that dangerous element of infiltration by outsiders can be solved. Those are the roots to terrorist activities apart from sleeper cells.
My voter id came with wrong spelling a single letter missing. First thing i did was to get it corrected Chahe mereko 2-3 bar jaana pada but atleast i did it. For whom? my self. Its the necessity n my duty.
Many policies go into Parliament for debate amendments are made. So will be with NRC. Amit Shag words is that what he wants... not necessary that is what will be implemented. We can make conclusions once it take normal course of action like all other policies do and then debate and rather than go on hearsay.
Jab NRC aaya hi nahi hai hum kaise keh sakte hai its ill conceived plan or flawed...
problem is arising people are not letting even discussion in parliament. Dharna karke bethe hai aane hi nhi denge jo marzi ho jye..... this scary n dangerous n against security of country. imho.

Bhai laws lawyers nahin banate na . They are made by the parliament that consists of people who u elected to represent you and your issues. So in a way they are representing u and u do have a say on their decisions. You may not have the required qualification but u have basic understanding of what all iso wrong with certain ideas.
Corruption is what makes law abiding citizens worried , and in a way this has nothing do with law abiding citizens it is more to do with who is a citizen and on what basis.
I m hyper-focused on the section that u r ignoring. Did I ever say infiltration is not a problem but do u want genuine citizens to lose their citizenship to stop infiltration? Are the citizens responsible for such lack of security on the borders? Like u said u r not qualified like a lawyer, I m not qualified in defence to suggest how we can secure our borders better to comment on that. I thought having security on the borders should be enough, but that clearly is too simple for such a complex issue.
Its good u got it corrected. I did the same and I know how many years I had to go to various offices to do the same. Thankfully I was in college then and had ample time to spare, people who have jobs to survive may not have the time to visit offices for so many years, and thr r other people who do not think its important. I can tell u by experience more than two government officials told me that its not an issue if thr is a minor spelling mistake on different occassions when I complained abt having to visit their office all the time. It was my grandfather who was after my life to get it checked. Imagine when government officials tell u such things and how many gullible people fall for it. And what about those illiterate who can't even read to check if thr is spelling mistakes.
I think making good suggestions to Amit Shah before he prepares this policy with his own understanding is a great idea. The more people discuss the more he will hear about these suggestions. Amendment ki zaroorat hi nahin padegi if he takes these concerns seriously.
Jab NRC aaya hi nahin toh Amit Shah ne Voter ID card ko invalid kis basis pe bola? Jab NRC pe baat hi nahin hui how did they link NPR to NRC and why is NPR is being conducted that too with new questionaire.
