But RS/RK seem to be sharing the awards year in and year out so probably. They are the new SRK/HR. Thats why Hrithik not winning this past week is not one of the bigger deals. He has 4 of these awards (whether he deserved it or not) So if he left the faves group its ok.

If Kabir Singh is not winning awards there are multiple reasons for it. One, the movie is a scene for scene remake. Not an adaption, but a scene for scene remake. Two, it has received a lot of flak for being regressive and encouraging dangerous ideas of toxic masculinity. Awarding a movie that’s already come under fire for the above mentioned issues is inviting even more criticism.

Exactly, filmfare and other award shows have nothing against shahid, shahid has won many awards for his roles, it has more to do with the film and character and the backlash that it got, so rs and rk wud also not have won if they had done the role

If for once we consider that one actor is not allowed to win for a scene by scene remake, then Shahid should not have been nominated at the first place, considering there were controversies about the movie's plot and also it was not an original movie, then what was the point of nominating him?

Coming back to the best actor award, Shahid did not deserve it as much as Hrithik it, I believe he definitely deserved it for delivering two very successful and completely different movies one of which was also the highest grosser and also a very very popular one compared to Ranveer's gullyboy. And if Hrithik was not deserving, then Akshay was the most deserving, he delivered 4 superits and ofcourse just all four movies had different genres, he delivered a kesari, a housefull and a mission mangal in the same year and if that is not popularity then what is 'Best actor popular' meant for?

Anyways, let us move on to 83 and Shubh mangal zyada, next year RS and Ayushman will win again for these respective movies 👍🏼😵
