So true. Maya can't even figure out that MJ has bugged their room whereas he himself repeated exact words of Rudra (hair, udaan) from their private moments twice. It was like he literally told her----"baby I have bugged your bedroom" and she didn't notice.

I think Maya is still in love with the concept of fairy tale love. She still doesn't understand real love entirely. Her whole life is a story from her perspective where she is the heroine (jiski kabhi koi galti nehi hoti chahe kuch bhi karle), Rudra is the hero, MJ clan is the evil magician and associates and everyone else are witches (anu, rishi etc.)

She lives in a fantasy world plus she has been in self induced isolation for so long.

Guys, there is a strange dynamics of hadh and azadi happening between MayRa. One day Rudra says this relationship gives her azadi from all bandhan, then the next day he is upset because she crossed the hadh of long hairs and red dress, bound by his love. Maya, on the wedding day, accepted that his love would be her hadh, and true, the kind of sinister she plans she needs a hadh to stabilize herself. Then she says, her love is in her rooh, freely flowing and transcendental, that should not be in the hadh of external beauty like hair or dress.

I revisited this dialogue from the thread: Tumhe bandhne ka haq sirf tumhe hona chahiye, kisi aur ko nhi. Phir chaahe woh koi yaad ho, koi dard ho, koi pyaar ho, ya phir koi nafrat. Jis din ye baat samajh jaoge, her bandhan se aazadi paoge. And I am more confused, because the dynamics between azadi and hadh in love has been interchangably shown, it would be interesting to see what is bound in hadh and what is set free.
