My take is, they were in a relationship/dating, but the article maligning Sid came out, and he thought she released that article, which caused a major rift between them. They haven’t behaved like friends whose friendship ended on bad terms, rather exes who couldn’t make it work

The way he observes her, his attitude when Asim/Rash hang out, or the fact that he brought Rash very specifically to his mom.... just a fu*ked up relationship
