Agreed. MJ was the source of all evil with Maya. Even during initial stages she got afraid listening to his foot steps. She didn't see MJ but she recognized his foot steps.. When we get hurt the most, we will remember the 1 thing that is associated with the hurt.

By showing Maya being vulnerable to MJ, it also shows there is more in Maya than revenge.

I've watched a lot of revenge thriller shows and beyhadh comes in like a joke in front of them. I've seen shows where the lead actress is raped, shoved off a cliff and left for dead. Another where she's raped, abused in the nastiest way. Another where a man watched his wife got rape, his child was murdered and his home destroyed.

It didn't take them 10 years to plan revenge in the most deadliest form to whimper in front of their wrong-doer. And if these cases suffer with "psychological problems" they didn't allow it to weaken their resolve. Because the man hunted, destroyed and fullfiled his revenge without 10 years of planning and weakening in front of his wrongdoer.

Like you said, Maya is consumed with darkness, thirsty for revenge but she weak in front of a person she's supposed to be emotionless to? A person she's supposed to kill in the deadliest way. She has grown, she had 10 years of planning. Obviously she knew she'll face it. Or will she whimper while attempting to shoot?She is allowed to be weak but not sit down and allow a man who tried to kill you to cut your hair and then weep about it. But if sis is so badass, so filled with rage and anger why are you allowing this man to hurt you again. If you are fueled by hate and darkness then nothing can scare you. If she's fueled by these emotions, fear and being afraid wouldn't come to mind. Hate and revenge. So it makes no sense that she's fueled by hate but cower in front of the man she's supposed to destroy. You may lot see it, but for people who watch thriller shows and revenge shows, the precap is a joke. It's amusing.

She isn't a strong woman at all. It's very unrealistic.

Yeah, that's the part that escapes me too. She is so badass in front of all the other characters, but in front of MJ, she gets paralyzed. How exactly was she planning to get revenge if she can't even make a sound in front of the person that wronged her the most?!

It's mind boggling. My fam said the exact same because it looks stupid. The character has had such a strong, powerful build up and now when she's in a room where her target is around, she's this pathetic, weak individual. I find myself skipping Maya's scenes at times.

Agreed - I do the same these days. Also, Ashish and Jenny play those scenes so well that it feels very real and I just can't seem to put myself through that torture. Someone in the forum mentioned a Harry Potter moment and I hope she finds that pronto. It's like she reverts back to Maanvi in front of MJ, giving him exactly what he wants and letting him feed off her fear. What I don't get is she knows her plans went haywire the moment she married Rudra and she knows the monster that MJ is probably more than anyone else, but instead of coming up with contingency plans, she is busy either reacting (understandable), romancing (also understandable), or playing the happy blushing bride, like during her call with Rajeev (not understandable). Like, come on, where is your Plan B? Plan C? You're supposed to do better than this!

Maybe getting scared in front of MJ is also a part of her plan?

I hope Maya Jaisingh kills MJ ten times worse than how Maya Mehothra killed Ashwin. Ashwin was drugged and fell into the fire, can't wait for CVs to give MJ a gruesome death.

exactly here in forum people are speaking highly of maya. they call her a badass woman. I was also one of them but now my perspective has changed entirely. i found maya still the same manvi in front of mj. she worked so hard for 10 years to become powerful just like mj but didn't prepare herself for face to face battle with mj. it sounds so weird. 🤓 now what happened to her planning and plotting to destroy mj. she is behaving like a newly married woman and wanted to live a normal life with rudra in mj's house. it is mj who is doing everything now, he met manvi once again and already made a plan to destroy maya-rudra relationship while maya has forgotten her 10 year old revenge plan. 😕 i don't know what special day has she chosen to give it back to mj. Till then she will let mj do anything to her. that's make me frustrating

As i said in an another post that this show needs good thriller writer. Currently, its actors and role of Rudra which is saviour of the show.

I understand fear but she is still traumatized and let MJ walk all over her. If she was traumatized, how the hell she functioned in normal life in these 10 years. She should need to see psychiatrist instead of thinking of revenge. How come she become a great writer and a financier.

What exactly she did in 10 years when she knows one she have to face MJ one day. A PTSD person's trauma just doesn't go away in few seconds. She is bold in front of sudhir, antara, and divya, but cant even move a finger in front of MJ. That is so unrealistic.

Infact, many things in BH2 is full of loopholes.
