Divorce among affluent and educated is true is because first they understand their rights better because of education , and second they can afford to separate because they are independent. So iss mein buri baat toh hai nahin kahin pe. Just because a third person sees it as arrogance doesn't mean it actually is. So to paint people taking divorce as arrogant based on their education and financial independence is highly problematic to me. It somehow demonises these people and their decisions.

Without a doubt Education generates awareness.. so I don't believe in what he said that just being educated makes you divorce more. Also, i am nowhere saying divorce is a taboo and anyone in a problematic relationship should just stick to it.

But the main reason for falling of marriage is infidelity... affluency brings a lifestyle where likelihood of infidelity is high..

Afluency does bring certain arrogance to not give a fcuk of building relationship as a traditionally average people do...more so I am taking about the generation that has inherited wealth who doesn't know the low and high of efforts it takes to build that wealth or a relationship...

The one who has build affluency will always believe in sanctum of holding a unit together whether it's a business or family... Tell me if you haven't noticed that first generation has hold it together till the end and it's their children where divorce rate is high?
