Jo: Priyanka Chopra (rebel/writer)

Beth : Kriti Sanon(quiet, homely)

Amy: Alia Bhatt (vain, artistic)

way too old

Meg: KATRINA Kaif or DISHA Patani (pristine beauty)

Their role is focused on their Visual beauty only. So i chose these 2.

Jo: KALKI Koechlin or KANGANA Ranaut (rebel/writer)

Kalki because she is a rebel IRL, Kangu because she can play Aloos Rival very well and naturally.

Beth : SHRADDHA Kapoor (quiet, homely)

Best role for Shraddha.

Amy: ANANYA Pande or Alia Bhatt (vain, artistic)

Aloo opposite Kangu will be fun, Ananya also fits this role.

Ages don't matter at all. Can easily be worked into the story just like Hollywood did.

Meg : Aditi Rao/Yami Gautam ( pristine beauty )

Jo : Swara Bhaskar/Neena Gupta ( rebel kinda attitude with strictly average looks )

Beth : Shraddha Kapoor ( quiet , homely )

Amy : Alia Bhatt ( vain , artistic )

Meg - Tara Sutaria (a beauty with quite simple view of life and gender roles)

Jo - Radhika Madan (independent and dares to go beyond the role defined for her)

Beth - Alaya F (A gentle, shy, homely and wise soul)

Amy - Zaira Wasim (Self-centered but grows/develops and is an artist).

Alternatively (without following the book character ages which ranges from their early teens to their 20s)

Meg - Aditi Rao Hydari (beauty)

Jo - Kangana Ranaut (has the attitude and emotional range to deliver this role)

Beth - Rakul Preet Singh (homely and wise)

Amy - Alia Bhat (can play a vain character that shows growth later on)

This seems quite perfect! If Only all these actresses were a decade younger. But yeah they’d all look pretty convincing.
