Now falling in love with Maya and marrying her has made him Bholenaath (calm & loving) And if anyone hurts Maya, he will be like Mahakaal (to avenge her every pain/insult)

Yes it is that story only.. they embody Shiva parvati only..

Even to fight Mahishasur it was shiva who suggested to send durga and he helped her get all the amunitions to fight and the main one being the trishul was given by him..
