Asim fought with Shukla to expose him. Asim is always called ehsaan-faramosh, bade bhai ko dhoka diya, emotionless and what not. So he wanted to show how everyone does the same in the house. When Shukla does it it's called strategy/payback but if Asim did the same, he would've been called ehsaan-faramosh/backstabber.

Asim was successful to prove his point. At the same time he showed emotion towards Arti.

So no Asim didn't do it because he is jealous of Paras. He is already in finale week whereas Paras now needs to be saved

There is nothing for Asim to be jealous of paras at this time of the game infact Paras is jealous of him since day 1 and wanted to bring him down but could not succeed. So he is the one who looks like a sore loser now but whatever sails your boat 🤪🤪
