OK.. Caught today's episode.

Dhrubo got screen space today. Not as much as I would have liked. But more than they normally give 💃💃💃

The episode further explained the Tubri situation. Tara's dad confessed to the crime of killing Tubri and so he's in jail. Although Tara thinks he's innocent and hopes to prove it to the family someday. Agni's family remind her of the favours they have done her by giving her shelter and Tara says, for that she's ready to go to any lengths to save the business and protect the dignity of Agni's dad. Agni tells her she doesn't need to worry about his dad anymore as he's back. The rest of the family members tell Tara to leave. Pishimoni comes to her defense and tells her to leave the house and live a life of dignity. Just then Shekhar faints.

Cut to Dhrubo 😍 who is looking quite pleased with something. Hrito comments on his boss's apparent happiness. Dhrubo says he can feel the end of Shekhar Choudhary. The mere thought of that man losing everything is the cause of Dhrubo's happiness. Then Hrito says you could've gone to their party and met Shekhar. Dhrubo says he will only meet the man when Shekhar has been completely destroyed. He wants to see him helpless and begging for mercy. Hrito feels the end for the Choudharys is near as their quote for a tender is more than the Lahiris' quote. Dhrubo throws a bundle of cash at Hrito saying I'll give you more, just keep me informed about everything. Then in inner monologue, says, "Tara you are going to lose."

Shekhar wants to see Tara after he regains his consciousness. Their bond is quite cute. I loved that scene... Basically, he gets her to promise to not leave the house before telling her about how the Lahiris have quoted less than them.

Tara smells a rat and asks for a days time to get to bottom of it. Agni comes in then and asks her if she has decided to not leave after all. She says I have much to prove. And if to prove herself, she has to go against Dhrubojyotir Lahiri, she'd do so. Dhrubo on the other hand thinks that Tara has to come to him. And so does Shekhar. And when they beg for mercy from him, it will be his victory. The screen splits to show their determined faces.

Precap.. Agni goes to RK Exports and signs some papers. Dhrubo also is in the office. Tara on the other hand is trying to find a taxi to take her to that office. Agni walks into Dhrubo. Tara comes to meet someone in the office. Dhrubo sees her there.

Didn't notice what the other two were wearing. But since I am a sucker for men in suits, Dhrubo in a grey window pane check is all flavours of delectable 🤤

Seems like it is a good episode and quite a few things happened. I am liking the pace they have set. Will share my bits after I watch the epi on TV, but so far, good episode. And yay, I finally know the name of Mr Choudhuri. Shekhar!

True.. It's pretty fast paced. Not that I am an avid watcher of Bengali shows. Actually I don't watch Bengali shows at all. My mom watches Rani Rashmoni and my sister and I sometimes sit and drool over Gaurav Chatterjee. But I had expected the show to drag. And Dhrubo seeing Tara for the first time is one of my favourite first meeting scene of all time. I think I am massively crushing on Dhrubo's character.

I see stuff here and there. The only reason I decided to watch this is that the forum opened with the show. And now I am really enjoying it. Every episode moves the story from one point to the next, there are uses of common cliches but those too are usually done well. The car scene was actually quite normal and so were the reactions of the people involved. 👍🏼 And I LOVED the mandir scene, it has my whole heart. ❤️ I really enjoyed the gulaal scene too. And the scene where Agni takes a step back and the camera focuses on his sock-clad feet and the contrast with feet, gulaal and the chequered floor. 👏 The camera work is really nice and the music choices are so, so good!

And yes, same. Totally crushing on Dhrubo's character.

I don't know how many times I have watched that Mandir scene. I have downloaded the episode just so I can see it to my heart's content, again and again. Everything about the show is quite pleasing. And even though Dhrubo's character hasn't been established properly, I'm already taken in 😅
