Mami and Chadni (or is it Chandini?) serve no purpose. They are simply there because we need a big family.

The show is undoubtedly OTT in some scenes, but looking at the shows currently airing on TV.. Well, I can't really blame them for the OTT ness. It is less prominent in the later episodes, but it is definitely there. Hope you stick around though :)

The sister is very OTT. Others are expected but for me the sister takes the cake.

I don't think just because you are giving her education, it gives you the right to say such awful things. It does not justify their actions. Change in behaviour would be appreciated but we know it is not going to come so soon.

I didn't mean it like that. Tara doesn't deserve the treatment she gets. It is no fault of her and she already does so much for the family. However, the alternative would have been worse, what with her having no family, so I will say that she definitely has one good thing going for her. The story will probably go a different way, but if this was real life, then her education is her only way out of this situation. Here is to hoping that we get to see the positive sides of Bhalo Baba and Pishimoni more often. As it is, they are her only source of comfort.

Oh why oh why? I love the mean sister trope so, so much. Why couldn't she be less OTT?

I wouldn't have minded, but her expression when Agni was talking about his pain at losing his sister... Mama Mami's expressions were 🤢 That was their niece. An innocent child!

The show needs more positive characters. I just hope we don't get excess negative characters from Dhrubo's side as well because a negative character has to be there, it's a norm now

Na, na, there would be characters balancing out the negatives. At the very least, there will be a neutral character (and the voice of reason) and one person who will change sides every other day.

And there would be kids!
