I don't think so it was intentional at Vikas's end. Sid definitely wouldn't want to discuss this topic in the show. I remember once Zariwala tried to ask Sana how old she was in 2004-2005 (When Sid & Zari were dating) and Sid told her to not ask such controversial questions.

Not surprising ..I have read an article about shortest marriages of HW stars and the shortest term was of 24 or 48 hours ..I dont remember the name now but it was someone very famous popstar but I'm not sure which one..so compared to that 12 days is a very long period .

Sid has never dated a girl as young as Sana. So, he will be prone to look at it from all angles. Ideally, considering the kind of person that he is, he would have liked to look up to his bride’s dad/mom as parental figures. In this case, if the mom is just say a decade older, he’d have to be mentally prepared to deal with a different sort of dynamics. That’s all. He is not really too worried about it as a hinderance to his relationship with Sana. It just makes him a bit uncomfortable since he hadn’t expected to fall in love with a young girl and the implications thereof and he’s concerned since her mother is the sole member of Sana’s family he hasn’t met until now.
