Something missing in Taapsee's acting - Page 2

Tapsee isn't that great actress as she is made out to be. She does well in roles like pink. But she is horrible when she tries something different like sand ki ankh or even judwa 2. She has benefited alot from the nepotism debate.

I personally think she is overrated. There's nothing exceptional about her. Also she has acted almost alike in all of her movies. I watched Judwaa 2 in theater and I liked Varun and Jacky better than her, imagine someone picking Jacky over anybody in terms of acting. I don't know why people call her the next big thing when she is nothing but mediocre.

Ps the only time she is in publicity is when she gives some "befitting" reply to a troll on Twitter, never else.

For me she was only good in Pink and refreshing in Judwa2.

She was such a dampener in Badla. It just didn’t make sense of how keeping sane expression throughout the movie was called acting. The movie did well due to its twists n turns and AB, rather than the monotonous lead actress.

After Badla I didn’t dare to watch any of her movies again.

At least she can act for something to miss in her acting. Most of her colleagues have their entire acting missing.

She comes across as a cold person in her drama/thriller movies.

She looks bad, she acts bad n she is still in bollywood all thanks to kangu n her nepotism debate, when kangu's lies all came out she became troll n Tapee took the mantle from there n still living on it n her befitting replies

Saw Badla again and Thappad's trailer and I feel something is missing in Taapsee's acting. I can't quite put my finger on it, can someone help me here?

Most people around me feel she is a great actress, but I just can't connect to her acting. It looks too forced. She was good in Pink and Manmarziyan, but off late I have been feeling she is under-acting and is too bland. Somehow, the expressions also don't seem apt.

Opinions on her acting plz?

watching Badla, i couldnt help but think that someone else would have nailed her role. I didnt feel anything for her in that film, which is bad...someone like KR would have amazingly played that role, just saying!

She's not the best actress even though I enjoyed her work in Pink, Chashme Baddoor and Baby.

Its just tht she's done more serious script oriented films so she is considered great by some.

I prefer Ileana over her anyday...she is so good in performance oriented films like Barfi and masala films like Main Tera Hero...she was the best thing about Pagalpanti. Shame she doesn't get better opportunities.

Subtle acting ke naam pe expressions hi nahi deti hai behen. Badla was horrible..She seemed so lazy to even move her facial muscles. Faltu ka hype
