@TM: beautiful post. Today I loved Rohit a lot but more as he is always shown as a man who is first and far most a loyal then loving person. For him once he gives his love, it's hard to make him hate that person even if they make mistakes.
See I always loved his love confession and he did not fall in love with Sona because she is better than Raima. That's him and they are to this day keeping him real in that aspect.
Hope and pray they continue to do that. See theirs is a mature friendship that turned into love. So no stupid logicless MU
Today after long time I connected with Sona. Pls don't tell me she should give it back to sippy family. Once she considers them her family then she would not do that. If that's the case then why did she tolerate all the abuse from Suman and disrespect from Pari??? She was then too an empowered woman wasn't she? Also it's not as if Sona doesn't know other people's misdeeds she is smart to know all that and continues to love them because they are her family. It might look weak to some people but to her she is very clear.
What I failed to understand about Sona in the past few weeks is she didn't confide in Rohit, then expects Rohit to reveal everything, changed her self completely, quit her job, in short she was insensitive to many people who are part her family..esp Suman, Rohit.
I don't think sona will fight the Sippy's but she will withdraw from them emotionally. Infact with Both the families and this will hurt them the most.
One more think I didn't like in Sona after Marraige is how she interfered in everyone's lives. It's was never sona. She always backs away where she was not wanted.
Anyways hoping they won't make Rohit do something that he will regret. He is been dealing with too many guilt which are not his faults. Please let him be practical and question the prenaup once his anger subsides. He is the one who believes his sona is not capable of inhumane thing to others.
Hope sona doesn't play a victim and accepts the fault or go fight Rohit for her Mom's honor. I think what suman did during the truth disclosure about Rohit being Narens son, one day he will also cheat on sona and bring his illegitimate child. That's an unforgivable thing to say about your SIL and to this day sona hasn't reprimand her. Not saying she should it's between her and Rohit but it's hypocritical to say if he blames suman he is blaming sona. So let's see what's in store for us.

Now, Veena publicly slapped Sona and send her to Police station by accusing her in suicide case. It is the worst thing the in-laws would do to DIL. But Sona takes this also gracefully and supported Rohit. Now , after knowing how much Sona loves Rohit,veena cheaply came with Prenup thing and accused Sona after getting frustrated with Rohit love for Sona. I am waiting for old Sona to back and show mirror to all Sippy's and Rastogi's what they are doing with her yaar. Both Rohit and Sona should stop giving important to their families more than each other. They should concentrate on their career and their personal life.

The circumstances might have been such that his trust was broken, the time had been such that he uttered something as hurtful as 'I hate you' to the very person he loves the second most, yet he hasnt stopped worrying for herWe should remember rohit is also a human, it's is OKAY to get mad st your wife, he is no angel to always do the right thing. What matters is how he COMES AROUND. and he proved his power in coming around with perfection (... so far. im not talking about the potential misunderstanding on the way)
And the same goes for Sonakshi. This woman has my respect. Despite being accused of such heinous crime, inspite of being left alone to get interrogated by the police, sonakshi finds the mental and physical strength and energy to talk normally with her husband on the phone, hears the longing in his voice when he asks if she's gonna come to the hospital, replies immediately that she's coming straight to the hospital, goes into the ICU and embraces her husband in her warmth and consoles him. I mean look at the beauty of her character - if it was any other daughter in law with the least bit of selfishness, she would have gone to her maika right there and then. But having selfless in the gene is something only a few are priviledged with. And sonakshi is one such woman....yes sometimes her goodness backfires and make her look dumb, but in the world so brutal and toxic, it is hard to win over. But as they say "apna time ayega", and when it comes, the sippy's will be st sonakshi's feet.
The upcoming episodes are gonna be a difficult test and trial for both rohit and sonakshi. While sonakshi will have a hard time proving herself innocent, rohit will have to give one of the most difficult tests of faith on his wife. Lets see if he passes this test or not :)
A much needed and very well written post. Whatever you have said is absolutely correct. The scenes today were much relief after last week's drama and much needed before the upcoming storm. Each of Ronakshi's scene reminded me why I am still watching this show and what do I even say about Dipika and Karan's performance. Every time they are on screen, they recreate their magic as Ronakshi.
They have always stood by bad for each other. Rohit has always supported Sona and Sonakshi has always been there for Rohit whenever he needed her. Yes they have made mistakes and alot of us are upset over that but that's not going to take away the good things from their character.
I still have high hopes that Rohit will trust Sonakshi even if he says some spitefully mean things initially. Let's all just be a little patient and hold onto whatever good we are able to find in these episodes.

@bold: WORD! A very precise description about ronakshi's foundation of love : friendship. And this friendship was built upon trust. Rohit had started trusting sonakshi before he even fell in love with her. When she was arrested during mahatre track, rohit was the only one from the Sippy family who believed that sonakshi can never do anything. And he claimed not to be in love with her at that time. The same trust is what I want to see from rohit when prenup thing comes up. If he knows his Sona even a bit, he would know that she can never ever do something like this, ESPECIALLY if she's refusing that this wasn't the same prenup she had signed. It's gonna be a test of faith for rohit's "mujhe tumpar khud se bhi zyada bharosa Hai"
@red: while I understand where you're coming from, I don't think standing up for herself is something wrong or will ruin sonakshi character. It is true that she might not take REVENGE for what the sippy's have done to her. That's probably gonna be out of her character. But she can definitely come up with her own sonakshi way of revealing the truth and speak up about how every Sippy member has hurt her in some way or the other and made her feel like shit. That much, I think she's ought to give to the sippy's and let them feel guilty enough so they have a reason to repent properly.
@green: bingo! If she does emotionally withdraw from them, it will be like ripping them apart without laying a finger on them and that's would be a well deserved punishment.
@blue: while I agree to this to some extent, I also understand why sonakshi did that. Take the property issue for example, sonakshi didn't just wake up one day and just decided to interfere on his FILs decision. She did that when she SENSED danger. When she saw Akash and Deepa practically furious abiut this decision, so much so that they said she will ake this issue to the court. And anyone who thinks of a family as his/her own would obviously interfere. Same thing with sonakshi. I think her only fault is that she has started loving this family as her very own.
