Katrina has not delivered a single noteworthy performance except in Zero. Shouldn't the actress of the decade at least have some memorable performances in her kitty?

Also, most of Katrina's films have worked because of external factors. She didn't contribute much to those films - instead she was there in flowerpot roles.

Deepika's contribution is much more. During the start of the decade, she was about 2–3 yrs in the industry. To be frank, she has seen success from the beginning itself starting with Om Shanti Om. She continued in big movies and in glamorous roles while parallely giving space for performance oriented roles. Her performance in Cocktail amongst the 3 main leads. Subsequently, she got prominence with her performance backed roles in Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani, Goliyon Ki Raasleela Ramleela, Finding Fanny, Piku, Tamasha, Bajirao Mastani and Padmaavat.

So people can deny all they want but official publications views matters more than anyone here and multiple named her number one actress of decade

N op no, disagree. Katrina deserve number one more than deepika. Deepika had just 3 years as mumber one from 2013 to 2015. From 2016 onwars she was not!

Kat was at top from 2007 to 2012 n was number 2 in deepika's peak years. So! She deserved it. Deal with actual facts

And box office matters . Not acting skills. So by logic vidya balan or kangana deserved to be number one because deepika acting is nothing infront of them. So that dont make sense

Katrina, at the beginning of the decade (in 2010) was super strong and had just become number one. She had a free, undisputed run for four long years where she gave many hits and even in the misses her songs became the rage. This was till 2013. But that's when her stardom started to wane as Deepika suddenly rose in the same year. Deepika had a good 3 years of super successful run when Katrina's career was fast losing steam. By 2016 Deepika starred to slacken and Katrina rose again - although she never became number one but she gave a tough fight against Deepika.

Since Katrina had the headstart, she became number one of the decade. Deepika was conspicuously absent for the first three years of the decade till Cocktail came along, and from 2016 to 2019, she had only one film release. So overall Katrina is the queen of the decade. But Deepika did have a good 5 years at least as number 1.
