Here in mpth from what I have seen and read seems they showed mehwish not genuine rather selfish still. She could have been shown in a much better light and maybe audience would have warmed up to her too. The writer deliberately maybe continued to show mehwish selfish till the very end hence mehwish Danish could not be the end game. Writer put Danish on a pedestal. Audience rooted for him and obviously his death left an impact.
Everyone has their own views about cheating. I personally would not forgive if my partner cheated on me and I know for a fact I would never cheat.
I feel there should be clean cut end. Then go on with someone else but cheat nahi karo. End one then start another don't keep that safety net thing if my affair fails my partner is there I can go back.
You are right here Mehwish was shown as not genuine and selfish till the end. So forgiving her was difficult I would say impossible.
Danish was shown as flawless here. But I feel he was wrong too. Kisi se itna mat judo ki use tumhe todne ki taqat mil jaaye.
I didn't feel his death was impactful maybe because the whole execution of the scene was so poor.
