When tv serials were new in India they used to be 13 episodes or 26 episodes max. Then they had to take permission of DD to extend in the multiples of 13. But then long running or rather never ending sagas started from hum log and buniyaad and it changed the picture. Still i think some channels make 6 months max nowadays. We as a audience should stop watching such long running nonsense so that channel bosses stop making them.

@bold: When Kekta Kapoor started with her nonsense I was very sure all her shows would bomb henceforth as no one have so much free time to watch such shit! But boy was I wrong😳 After that I have lost hope. Kekta tar hit ahech tichyabarobar Rashmi, gul khan sarkhe log pan hit zale ahet tiche forumlae vaprun 🤢 ani marathi shows pan agdi same direction ne jaat ahet. Tya divshi channel change kartana mi ek show pahila...tyat to shashank ketkar ahe. tyat konitari tya heroine la chappal fekun marli mhane🤢 actors tari hya aslya scenes sathi kase tayar hotat?? Ani ekhada kahi masterpiece show asel ki baba role sathi kahipan tari mi samju shakte....pan he aslya chapri shows sathi aslya goshti karaychya? nantar ajun ek maids var show ahe...toh hi taslach! Classless!! They just love being crass. Unfortunately TV industry is of the firm belief that only crass & cheap things will sell. Kahi decent kela tar as if people wont like it
