SHY, haven't gotten back enough to be able to quote your postand hence replying directly. I have noticed that too and I'm sure others here at DDT must have too. Shukla is obsessed with Rashmi and that imo is an undeniable fact. But I think the pangs of frustration he feels are more out of how he cannot stand it when people he likes, people he was or is friends with or people he loves/loved are able to form friendship with Rashmi and actually begin to grow fond of her than the ex-lover jealousy pangs. He takes it as a personal defeat. I lost my people to her, she won them over kind and that drives him nuts. Asim's understood that and he seizes the opportunity whenever he can to give Shukla more burns. 😆
