Aww sooo sweet. I have actually been writing shaiyari since a very long time. Stopped after I got married, and decided to tap back into that corner of my life. Hopefully, I will keep being able to write more according to the situation. lets see...fingers crossed!

Arnavs side was expected. Yes. He is more, open than Khushi. since day one. If you remember when he first say her doing yoga, right. He is the one who always told himself, easy does it. Not too fast. In his mind his has been with her for years. (Fake email, remember). But, as for Khushi, ,she is new to this. RIght? Also, for a girl like Khushi, and us. I mean we are all brought up with the same values. However, some of us tend to twist or turn them more. While others don't. I didn't. Well mostly that is.. ( ☺️)

A kiss is a kiss is a kiss is a kiss. What may seem fine to one, may not be fine to someone else. Right, buttttt. that all being said. I am surprised that no one caught onto this part yet. Khushi is a smart cookie. Man, trust me, she is a smart girl. Her looking down, being shy had three reasons, right. Not just the one that everyone that. Keep trust in her decisions. Maybe she has a reason, a simple, ingenious reason. Nothing too complex, nothing too out there, nothing too deep rooted. Just a simple reason. Arnav's frustration is understood. In today's world, when you see couples doing PDA and your gf doesn't even let you kiss her, it's too much. It shows that either khushi doesn't trust him to marry her post sleeping in, with her or she isn't comfortable with a intimate relationship, the latter can be a psychological issue too. If it is, then that would set a really good premise for your story. Where Arnav after joining medical school, gets to know this issue and tries to help her out of it.

But honestly people having intimacy issues have to divorces post marriage. Here, khushi calls him her bachpan ka pyar yet she doesn't own his body like any childhood sweetheart would do.... Also payal also comes from same family, yet is far more mature in understanding such relationships. Khushi is far more immature despite being the elder one...

I just posted a reply to Tina right before this. Khushi is a smart cookie. Don't worry about that. She may be more mature than you think. Remember in the second and third thread chapters, she has always displaced more maturity than others. When dealing with Shehnaz. Or even in one of the previous chapters to this, she was explaining to akash about why she is 'shy'. she isn't as shy, she is precautious.

According to Arnav, him and Khushi have been together since they were kids. He never let go of her, through the emails from aish right. She just started. She has always been the reserved type. How many times have you heard her talk about her and Arnav, their personal moments with anyone. None. Right. She keeps everything safe in her heart. She is the elder, smarter, more calm sacrificial type of girls. IF she loves, then she loves. Doesn't matter what happens. You will get to see a proof of that in a few chapters from now. don't worry. Any and every relationship for her is a permanent relationship. No two ways about it.

She has always managed to keep a strong control on her emotions, never let them out, or anyone else know about them. For a person like that, to be more open, or even more physical, is a tough and difficult change. They have only been engaged for some time.

Arnav, being a male, has more desires. Yes. She does as well. But as she mentioned to akash, she keeps her gaze down to keep a control on her emotions. She realizes Arnav needs. Remember the Niagra falls dialogue between them. She does want to fulfil all of his physical wishes, but, something is stopping her. Chalo, what I can do is I can try to explain this is the next chapter after the one I am about to post.

Tom and Minta, now the best thing about this story is that you have a parallel lead couple as well. I wanted to be able to show how each couple is different. yes, sometimes they may be similar, but each couple is different. And it is not necessary that they all copy, or do the same. IT doesn't mean that they don't love each other because they don't display PDAs. Or show their right over the other person. ITs just that each couple has to be true to themselves.

He moved his head back and moved two steps back so she could go. She fixed her duppata, looked at him and smiled. He smiled back. They were still upset, but, they knew the main part of the storm had passed. It would just take them some time. She started to walk away, he had to do something. Something fast!

Arnav: they got married. While we were at the cottage during reading week, they got married. Tom told me right before you came. Khushi stopped in her foot steps. She turned around tolook at him. He turned his body to face her. He walked up to her and held onto her hands. She looked at him in disbelief. He sighed and tried to give her a smile. He gulped.

Arnav: listen khushi, i know this will not be easy for you, or for me. Trust me. But, they are married. It is not fair upon them to stay away. And no more than two people can live a dorm like this.

Khushi looked down and gulped. She kept on looking side to side. She needed to sit down. He held her shoulders and guided her to sit on the bed . She sat down and kept on looking down, side to side. Now she was in a big problem. Before if it was just a live in, then they could say now. But now, what could she possibly do. She looked at him all worried.

Khushi: They got married? Are you serious?

He looked down. He held onto her hands tighter. He seemed more worried than her.

Arnav: yes.. I didnt want to tell you before, because i didnt want you to get too stressed, but. I had to tell you. Tom asked me not to tell anyone else, because minta wanted to tell you herself.

Arnav kept his gaze down. He seemed more worried that her. He just sighed kept on looking at their hands. She just looked at him. She was confused, she was in disbelief. She now didnt know what to do, or if she even had an option to do something. He noticed her nervousness. Her mind was telling her something, but her heart was saying something else. She just looked at him. A tear escaped her eyes. She softly whispered.

Khushi: how could..you...... me.. I mean.. its not possible. i.. cant believe ... you... me...

He put his hand into his pocket and took something out. He kept a fist so she wasnt able to see it. He slowly turned her one hand around and gently placed it in her hand. She opened her hand and smiled. He gave her the payal. She looked at him. He lovingly looked at her. She just softly smiled and then sighed. She closed her fist again. He held onto her hands again. She wasnt ready, but what could she possibly say or do.

Arnav: its ok khushi. What i can do is, that i will find a place to stay at for the next couple of weeks, and they can move into here. Dont worry. I will ask around and find a place.

Khushi sighed. She looked down at their hands. After a few moments she looked at him. She knew what just happened, and why. She smiled, a sad smile. A forced smile. She gulped. She felt something, she knew something. She didnt say anything, she didnt know what to say. But she knew what she had to do.

Khushi: You wont be able to find a place that fast. And this is your last semester. Your admission is based on your finishing of this degree right. She just looked down again. She wasnt happy, because of something that she realized. She kept her gaze down and just sighed. She loved him, and this was her way of proving it. He wanted proof, but this way of proving her love and trust to him, but he may never find out about it.

Arnav: Phir, listen khushi. What if.. I ... Promise. that we will stay together, like we did at the cottage trips, different rooms, different schedules. And I wont touch you. Promise? I wont let you feel uncomfortable at all.

Khushi just sighed. She was about to cry. Not because of the situation, but because she saw arnav, and she knew him. She gulped.

Khushi: that is not what i am worried about aranv. I trust you, i love you. I know you will never do something that i am not ready for. You have always respected that, and love me the way i am. but its just that... Can you promise me that..

Arnav: Kya.

Khushi: no one should ever find out please. Listen, you know how amma and bauji are. They are, well I am as well, very conserved thoughts or traditional. It will kill them arnav. Vohjeetay jee margaingay. You dont know how hard it was for me to convince them to let me come here. Please, their image and respect is the most important for them. I just have a very bad feeling about this. I cant explain it.

Arnav looked at her, cupped her face and smiled.

Arnav: I promise, no one will ever know. Never! And your just nervous that is all.

He slowly leaned his head and gently placed it against hers. They both closed their eyes. She had a tear escape. Arnav felt it, he thought that maybe it was because she agreed to this, she must have been emotional or nervous, maybe even scared.

Khushi: You should go and tell them. I need a moment please.

Aranv nodded his head. He left khushi in this room, and closed the door on his way out. Khushi stood up and looked out the window. She hugged her self and silently cried. She heard the door open and quickely wiped her tears. Arnav came in and stood beside her. He looked at her and smiled. She looked her gaze down. She quielty whispered to him.

Khushi: arnav...voh..

He noticed something in her voice, but didnt know what it was. He turned towards her and turned her towards him. She kept her gaze down.

Khushi: Can you please hold me.. tightly..please...

Aranv smiled and titled his head. He was a little surprised, that khushi asked him to hug her. She was worried. Arnav took a step forward and held her in his arms. She wrapped her arms around him and placed her head against his chest. She needed to hear his heart beat. He just held her tightly.

Arnav: khushi, dont worry. No one will ever find out. No one will ever know. I have already spoken to Tom and Minta.

Khushi: paka na arnav?

Arnav: promise!

Khushi sighed and tightened her hug on him. After a few moments she slowly loosened her arms around him. He looked down at her while holding onto her waist. She gently placed her hands on his chest. He looked at her and smiled. He gently placed a kiss on her forehead. She closed her eyes. He kept his lips there for a few moments. Then placed his forehead against hers.

Arnav: thank you khushi, for agreeing. You have no idea how much this means to me.

Khushi stayed silent, slightly smiled and sighed. She slowly moved her head back.

Khushi: I should be getting back. I still haveto unpack. Do you need help packing?

Arnav shook his head and smiled.

Arnav: its not much, dont worry. I think Minta might need some more help than me.

He chuckled. She just smiled.

Arnav: khushi, is everything ok?

Khushi just smiled and nodded her head.

Arnav: you dont look very happy? I can tell from your smile khushi.

She looked down, and smiled again. He knew her, but he forgot that she also knew him.

She looked up and gently cupped his face with one hand. She gently placed a kiss on cheek. He sighed, he was relieved.

Khushi moved her head back and went outside ofthe room. Tom and Minta looked at her. They both had huge smiles one their faces. She smiled back and walked up to them. Arnav followed.

Tom: Thank you so much khushi, for agreeing to this.

Minta: yes, and arent you going to congratulate us?

Khushi smiled and hugged minta.

She stood back and looked at tom.

Khushi: congratulations to the both of you.

Arnav walked up behind khushi and held onto her shoulders.

Arnav: from the both of us.

Every laughed, while khushi just smiled.

Minta: Ok, ok, we need to get this big move done soon. We want to get everything settled in before we have to start prepping for finals. Right guys.

Khushi: Dont worry Minta, I can help you with your stuff. When is the big move?

Minta looked at Tom, and Tom looked at arnav. Arnav just shrugged his shoulders.

Arnav: Dont look at me, you guys decide.

Tom: Tonight?

Khushi looked at minta in shock. This fast? She just gulped and looked down. She tried to keep smiling and tried not show anyone else her uneasiness. Arnav noticed her muscles getting tensed around her shoulders. His hands were still there. He cleared his throat.

Arnav: Actually, umm. I think that tonight might be a bit too fast or too soon. No offence guys, its just that I need some time to pack as well right.

He looked at minta and tom and gestured for them to agree. They all nodded and agreed accordingly.

Minta: Ok, so me and khushi have to get back. Khushi, you need to really help me get packed and all my work done. You remember what the dorm looked like before right?

Khushi smiled and nodded. They girls left and went to their dorm. Khushi stayed silent. Minta noticed this, she went up to khushi.

Minta: hey khushi, I wanted to thank you for saying yes to this. You have no idea how much this means to me, Tom..and Arnav. I mean, we never thought that you would ever say yes.

Khushi just sighed and tried to smile. She made two cups of tea and sat down on the sofa. Minta noticed her silence. She had seen that silence before. Minta knew khushi was hurt. She was going into her lock-down mode. Whenever, khushi was really hurt by something, or something would really disturb her, she would just make a cup of tea, and sit down quietly. She wouldnt talk, or react much to anything. She would lock herself out from the world. This was never a good sign. Minta knew khushi needed her friend to bring her out. She made her cup of tea and went and sat down beside khushi.

Minta: what happened khushi, i know you. What happened? I thought you were ok with the move? Hey listen, I mean, if it was a different situation then, I promise we would not have even said anything.

Khushi just looked at minta. Her eyes were moist.

Khushi: The problem is that...I know.
