That is true broken has such a lovely soundtrack that instantly strikes a chord and makes you eager to know their story and even on daily basis without the context of the show can be heard and enjoyed while this not so much.
Supporting characters honge toh dekheinge na lol doesn't look like their is much of a supporting cast in the show
LOL saara budget London location and two songs mein chala gaya lagta hai I guessš.....this series looks more expensive than Broken but they've spent their money on more cosmetic things than overall characters and story it seems.
The comparison of the soundtracks would be obvious since it's the same producer who has literally used two of the same artists used for the Broken S2 soundtrack, I guess.
The other thing that kinda confuses me is how both songs start with similar "J" words...."Jaane na dunga" and "Jee na paunga".....lol it's very hard to distinguish between them other than the difference in tempoš.....if I hadn't seen the different thumbnail, I would have presumed it's the same songš¤£
Broken ka each song is distinct....chaahe season 1 ho ya 2.
I get that the producers want to repeat their successful formula of an angsty romantic story but this still seems to be a bit of a rushed job. Despite all the emo scenes in the music video, the song is nowhere close to a "Laute nahin" for example.....matlab in that song, the moment the lines start with "Khwaab de do, ya saath de do...mil sako toh, aake jawaab de do", you get goosebumps. Even the instrumental version of that that plays each time Alina is mentioned is amazing.....then ofcourse there is the "Hmm hmm" tune from "Yeh kya hua" that is timeless for this series now.....and "Teri ho gayiyaan" is still amazing.
The composer/singer of Teri hogaiyaan and Jee na paunga is the same guy - Vishal Mishra....who also did Kabir Singh songs.....but somehow Teri hogaiyaan doesn't have as much of a Kabir Singh hangover as Jee na paunga doesš....it felt like a more independent/original song.
I honestly don't even mean to diss the songs....they are nice otherwise....but memorable nahin feel ho rahe....and inevitable comparisons with Broken are bound to crop up.
