Not a daddy substitute I guess but getting close to him (a bit like Minnie;anyways she's much younger so bonding will be different).

Then we've got a glimpse Neil having some weird past (just like Babita and HS; i was thinking maybe divorced and/or having a kid) so with him and Minnie there are again two quite distressed people in the mix

So in comes the thappar scene where 1. Arya tells Minnie and Neil that she wants them married and Minnie reprimands her but what is apparently much worse, 2. Arya tells Minnie that he is her hero and Minnie his heroine. Then comes the Babita slap

So now Minnie might have also been reminded of that scene and behaves as Babita would have. Idk it's all twisted now but it all feels like it's recycled from season 1.

Wtf?? You slap a kid because they say that you're their hero? What kind of backward nonsense is this?? Minnie's soulmate crap was more justified than this bs. 😂

Desi food is way tastier than all these things but then they take so much of time to make😆

If the cheese is not good, you can also easily make paneer at home, all you need is milk, a strainer and lemon/vinegar, we do it often here coz the paneer we get here in the Indian store is very expensive..

I know! I was googling how to make dal without a pressure cooker and they said it can easily be between 45 mins to 2.5 hrs and I'm just 😬

LMAO, so I recommended a YouTube channel that I follow for all my desi food to a teacher I'm working with, and the next day she came in saying she's gonna be making her own paneer at home. And I'm just like wtf?? I'm here struggling to find one in the store and you're gonna be making it at home?? 😂😂😂

Use a strainer instead of cloth, rest same!

Only the red lentils (masoor) is easily made without pressure cooker, rest takes a lot of time!

Lmao we are all sharing cooking stips in the PB forum🤣

Lol right now I am living in Germany and Maggi here is just an instant/canned food brand for anything and everything... They also make spice mixtures but if you say 'Maggi' here people often mean a black sticky very salty sauce in little bottles.. It tastes disgusting to me but people over 50 just tend to put it in everything which also makes everything taste the same 🤣😂😂😂😂🤣 but I reckoned that's not what you've meant 😂😂😂

Lol that makes sense... Haha I'm a complicated case, born and partly raised in Transylvania but a native Hungarian so moved in '90 to Hungary... Then left for school to Italy, lived there a few years, right now I'm in Germany but was back to another part of Italy for like a year with ny husband too🤯🤯 and right now we are preparing for another move within a year or so. So at this point I'm more connected to people than I am to places.

Thanks for the link! Will check it out when I get home today. :D

LMAO, we're all following in Babita's footsteps. 🤣 Ngl, it gave me major throwbacks to when Babita was teaching HS how to save his jalli hui dal. 😆

My gosh, this would have been such a perfect bonding moment for maa beti. Minnie's in Australia and struggling with food because she can't cook for shit. And while she loves things like burgers and pizzas, there's only so much of those that she can eat. Plus, she needs to pay closer attention to how much she's spending and her weight. 😬 Then comes in Babita to save the day as she helps Minnie to make simple but delicious khaana. Because Minnie can't understand it over the phone, Babes films it and this new "Lunchbox" series becomes a huge hit with the youth! There can also be a special guest appearance with HS who cooks less and flirts more (😉), Mickey who is all about the protein shakes and eating healthy, Preet who just wants an excuse to eat chocolate cakes, Bobby who surprisingly makes some really good fried foods, Beeji who is all about those ladoos, Dadu who can't cook much but knows how to make some of the most chat patte channe and buta, and Naeem Bi whose biryani makes Minnie want to ditch Australia and stay in Patiala forever.

You know, the simple things that makes life worth living. ❤🤗

This is how you make ricotta cheese btw, so for a shortcut you could try and drain it a bit by pressing it 😉 Also if you see a supermarket with a baby care section, there you can find those mousselin burping clothes (idk in proper English), they are great for cooking as well and inexpensive 😊

No, Arya actually said Neil was Minnie's hero and vice versa 🤐. At least Minnie did not say aloud HS was my hero. I wasn't watching that close but someone wrote in one of the threads that Minnie also freaked out about Neil sleeping on HS's bed (that charpayi? Haven't watched so i can only guess) under his mosquito net. If they are trying to show that Minnie gets to like Neil because he reminds her of HS then it will be yet another recycling of material though. Not to mention that SRJ and AD not only are but also look approximately the same age which makes it just so off for me.

Omg that is definitely so complicated 😆...so you are not connected to India or the subcontinent in any way right?
