I was thinking that what if his own parents are so shocked to see the whole fake molestation set up that they are stunned for words and don't voice words in his support and prachi is first one to believe him and says something along lines of that a boy who defends a girl's honour so many times cannot molest a girl?

Yeah aliya and rhea have understood by now that ranbir's faith in prachi is unwavering and strong and he will support her no matter what, but aliya has preconceived ideas on middle class girls like prachi that make her confident that prachi won't trust ranbir, so perhaps cv's will seek to surprise the evil duo by showing otherwise.
