They may have a emotional connection , Rudra also have healing power but at first he himself needs to get heal. Healing Maya isn't possible.

"You can't love someone back to life" you can try but their is no hope that you will be successful in Maya's case she is far gone now it's not possible to bring her back from the darkness or heal ger illness.

@Bolditalics: But in the initial phases, she made Rudra mentally stronger, alert and capable. So dunno, probably in the aftermath he would emerge out of darkness. Maya is herself her darkness. She gets moved emotionally by Rudra, but her actions remain in the direction of darkness.

although, some will spout the usual condescending lines " regular audience are not smart enough to understand beyhadh" or " this is why different shows are not made in india" but the thing is, beyhadh's execution has been very poor. sometimes I think a 5 year old wrote such a loophole filled plot and maya's planning is flimsy at best.

the story has no conviction. if people cannot connect to the story or characters, they won't watch especially if they have the main character plot a gruesome murder of an innocent boy.

My mum might watch a finite show here and there but she isn’t committed to something indefinite and she doesn’t dissect at all. So our mums are kinda similar like that.

That patronizing behavior is so annoying. The regular audience knows exactly what they sign up for when they watch a saas bahu saga but also they can make a crime show run for years because it is truly thrilling (my grandma was obsessed with CP)

Here, like you mentioned, we’ve about a million loopholes and a female lead extracting vengeance for some abstract reason.

Last episode proved that the entire cast is wonderful and given the right script and story, they’d elevate it even further and make it an ACTUAL thriller.
