I think Rajeev’s character isn’t as meaningful as we are probably making it out to be? I have seen no layers, no nothing. Felt like they tried establishing some alibi and even that had made no sense.

A member here theorized that Antara tricked maya as well. She is dumb so she told maya that her marriage with MJ is only of convenience and they will divorce soon. and that MJ truly loves maya.

Exactly...we aren't very clear on the past.. also if she was in love with MJ.. the way she was getting treated in the scene yest looked very abusive so I wonder what was the relationship really...

It could also be that she dint know about him being married till late.. not necessary if she met antara that she will know that she is his wife.. and why would antara meet Maya so happily and gift her something if she knew Maya was dating MJ..

Okay so let me give my two cents on infidelity and how everyone can execute it in their own way.

I’m going to go with that movie reference because it was one of the most talked about movies which had garnered crazy backlash. The best thing was no actor tried justifying it. SRK in fact said that everyone should hate a Dev as he left a perfectly normal life for his selfishness.

That seems to be the exact case here for MJ. He has kids. A wife, who according to the flashback, is absolutely normal and a life which seems pretty much set.

YET, he chose to prey on a woman much younger and he is fully responsible.

But then, so is Maya. She is aware of his marital status. If a few “I love you and I’m going to leave her for you” can sway her, then I’m sorry, but she is an absolute idiot and a woman with no conscience.

Kunal left her perfect family & such an amazing wife Mauli over Nandini his wife's Best friend CVS tried to justify it by saying it was love & all it was disgusting 😬😒.

But thankfully they didn't Ruined Mauli's Character & she came out stronger out of it .

But in real world this kind of shits happen people cheat around , destroy families yet their partner choosed to stick together with them 🤔 which is pretty upsetting .

What if the scene was before they started dating, because it looked like she was being introduced to everyone?
