Exactly. That’s why the reluctance. He wants Rishi to be as normal as possible. He doesn’t interfere unnecessarily and hasn’t burdened him with the ugliness.

That “bata doon, dad” was an indicator that even if MJ does his worse, Rudra would still shield Rishi.
