Highlights

Friday 10th January 2020:

-Prachi reveals to ranbir she left college as she doesn't want him to get in trouble defending her all the time. Ranbir is upset knowing this. She says she doesn't want his future spoiled because of her and this is second time he went jail for her. Ranbir says he beat nick for himself as he couldn't stand the words he was saying and that he wouldn't be able to rest in peace hearing all his if he remained quiet so he tells prachi to not blame herself and she calms down. He says he and everyone who knows her weel know she didn't do this and someone else is behind this. Prachi asks if he knows who is behind this but ranbir says he doesn't have a clue, but someone dressed as her to frame her. Ranbir requests her to go as this is not right place for her. She leaves.

-Rhea tells aliya she did something that is backfiring on her. She tells about the mms she made of prachi and aliya gets shocked. She says she thought ranbir would blame prachi too, but instead he fought for prachi against his friend nick. Aliya is shocked hearing ranbir beat his own friend for prachi and that ranbir got arrested. Aliya is annoyed saying ranbir and abhi trust and protect prachi and this isn't as easy now as they thought. Rhea gets hyper and blames herself for getting ranbir arrested and says they need to go free him. Aliya calms her.

-Pragya says she filed an FIR. Prachi comes and tells pragya of ranbir's fight for her and arrest. Pragya calls a lawyer up to free ranbir. Prachi and pragya decide to go to police station. Pragya accidentally forgets her phone and sarita goes after her. Sarita thinks to call mr mehra.

-Aliya comes down stairs with rhea talking about prachi whilst abhi and vikram walk in. Vikram asks if ranbir again had a fight with prachi. Aliya says ranbir had a fight for prachi and now with her. She tells that he had fight with his friend and she says prachi is a bad influence on him. Rhea badmouths prachi. Abhi stops her and forbids her to talk ill of prachi. Aliya says whatever prachi did the whole college is talking about it and deserves to be spoken to like this. Abhi tells her to shut up. He says even after he forbid her she is speaking ill of prachi and says prachi is like rhea to him and won't stand if someone speaks ill of her. Aliya tells him not to compare the two of them. Abhi says he isn't comparing as he sees them both the same and considers them both the same for him. Aliya says she will tell them the difference, and she tells vikram that nick whose father is a politician was saying things about prachi's character, ranbir got angry and ranbir beat nick up so much that police had to be called and ranbir is arrested. Vikram is shocked and is about to go, and abhi stops him saying ranbir doesn't just fight for no reason. Aliya says that's her point and ranbir isn't that kind of boy but it happened because of prachi. Aliya tells them about the mms. Abhi and vikram are shocked. Rhea tells she didn't want to disturb him and she says it is prachi in mms. Abhi straight up denies to believe and says it isn't prachi. Abhi says it must be someone from college who did it. Abhi says nowadays videos are getting morphed. Aliya asks why he has blind faith in prachi and where all this trust for prachi came from. He asks her where so much hate for prachi came. Abhi says to rhea he doesn't want to hear a word against prachi as he is sure she's innocent. Abhi and vikram go to release ranbir.

-Pallavi sees vikram leave and goes after him. Rhea says she is sure abhi doesn't love her now and loves prachi more than her. Rhea walks off and says she's going to ranbir and pallavi says she will come too with her. Aliya stops pallavi and tells her to control ranbir before things get out of hand.

-Pragya and prachi reach station. Pragya is informed that inspector is on break and is told to wait when pragya asks who she can talk to about ranbir. Abhi arrives to station. Abhi feels pragya's presence but misses to see her.

-Ranbir smiles in his jail cell thinking of prachi and how she showed concern for him. Abhi and vikram come to ranbir's cell and he doesn't notice them as he's lost in prachi's thoughts. Vikram says to abhi look at ranbir he's stood in jail and smiling. Abhi says he's smiling as he's different. Vikram jolts ranbir back to reality by shouting at him and ranbir gets stunned. Abhi says to ranbir he is proud of him. Vikram tells abhi to continue to spoil ranbir. Vikram says second time ranbir is in jail and he's ruining his name. Abhi tells vikram ranbir has no regret being in jail as he knows he did nothing wrong, as he stood up for a girl. Abhi tells its easier to follow the crowd but ranbir chose the harder route of not following others and standing up for prachi nd that he would have done same. Abhi says freedom fighters went to jail too for a cause. Vikram tells ranbir to not take him wrong as he's a father and is bound to feel bad seeing his son in jail. Vikram happily says if ranbir has no regret being in jail then neither does his father. Vikram says he is proud of ranbir that he sided with prachi when her hoshiarpur friend left her side and ran away. Ranbir asks which one. Abhi explains the one from diwali party. Ranbir asks sanju, and asks what he was doing there as he isn't even part of college. Vikram and abhi are surprised to hear this.

-Pallavi defends prachi and says she isn't that kind of girl and what happened at diwali... aliya interrupts her and says how does that prove prachi did nothing wrong and isn't a charaterless girl. Aliya asks why do all these things happen only to prachi. Aliya says it's because prachi is like that only and that it's maybe in her blood as their father left her and her mother and her mother must be the same. Pallavi denies as she has met prachi's mother an doesn't appear like that. Aliya says she doesn't appear like that and that's the mistake they make by judging them looking at their innocent faces. Aliya asks her if her mother wasn't like that then why her father left her mother. Pallavi says it could be the father who did something. Aliya calls prachi bad luck and that bad luck is hovering over ranbir now. She tells pallavi to keep ranbir away from prachi as since prachi entered his life he has only had problems. She says ranbir never used to get complaints ever from college. Pallavi is confused hearing this. Aliya fake cries and says ranbir is like her child and she's scared for him so she should keep him away from prachi. Pallavi gets worried. Aliya says if something like this happened to her aryan she would never let prachi near him. Aliya tells her to do what is right for her son. Aliya says she knows pallavi will take right decision. Aliya walks away thinking she knows her words had impact on pallavi and she will keep ranbir away from prachi now.

-Ranbir in jail thinks that girl was wearing prachi's clothes, sanju was in college, and thinks if they are both connected. Rhea comes and asks him why he fought with nick. Ranbir says as if she doesn't know. Rhea says she knows but asks him why did he do it. She says whole college is talking about i and wondering why did ranbir need to side with prachi including fighting for her. Ranbir says he knows rhea has problem with prachi but he doesn't and nick said something bad about prachi, he felt bad. Rhea says she knows if anyone else was in prachi's place he would have done the same. Ranbir agrees. Rhea claims she isn't mad he stood up for prachi, but is mad that he is here in jail. Rhea says the girl in the video is prachi. Ranbir outright says it isn't prachi, and its another girl wearing clothes like her. Ranbir tells her he suspects sanju and the girl in mms are together.

Seeing aliya’s current behaviour against Prachi, I doubt whether she will care if she got to know that Prachi is her niece at all. I have zero hope from aliya in terms of a positive change in her attitude towards Prachi even upon knowing the truth. I’d liked to be proven wrong still though.

Unless the serial is ending EK's villians don't turn good. I feel that when she finds out that Prachi is Prayga's daughter she will attack her more strongly than before while pretending to be goody goody!

Why do they even bother showing Abhigya in the same frame. By now with Soo many near misses it's freaking obvious they won't meet soon. It's as if they've not meet before in the whole Rishi-Priyanka debacle, that the cv's have forgotten about the Priyanka track.
