I don't understand the fondness people have for Lamhe. It was a terrible movie, IMO. What exactly did Jr. Sri and Anil have in common except her resemblance to her dead mother and her wanting his attention as a child?

But then, when were shared interests and melding personalities a reason for love in Bollywood? So maybe my expectations are wrong.

IMO, Rocket Singh would've been a hit today. It was RK's Ayushman movie before YRF happened to Ayushman.

Also, I don't know how Byomkesh Bakshi or Go Goa Gone did when they released, but they'd have done well today.

Aitraaz jaisi typical potboiler thriller kya kar rahee hai iss list may....😲....MATLAB kuch bhi šŸ¤ŖšŸ˜†

Bollywood has seen much polished & ahead of its times thrillers even in such old bygone era of 60' & 70's like Mera Saaya, Ittefaq , woh kaun thi etc..

2000's masala thriller Aitraaz in this list is just 🤪 worthy.

Also RGV's

KAUN (1999)

RANGEELA (1995)

SHIVA (1990)

&

HAIRAAN (1993)

were absolutely amazing & way ahead of their times.

(also Shekhar Kapoor's 1994 Bandit Queen)
