Paras TRIED to play a smart game (focus on the words tried ) BY putting Asim in a fix...He thought that Asim will burn Rashmi's pic and then he will burn Asim's and thus Paras himself will become the captain of the house

Asim obviously decoded his plan.....We all know if given a choice Asim will choose Rashmi OVER Paras....Asim didn't want Paras to become to captain !

Asim knew that he won't become captain coz Paras will burn his pic regardless

He killed two birds with ONE STONE !

Supported Rashmi as a friend

Did not let Paras become captain

He played with his mind as well as heart !
