Well Arjun is not selfish the way you think..yes he fall in love after marriage that was wrong..but atleast he don't betrayed her..he told riya what's going in his mind..he was ready to still work on their marriage..but if he would have do that would he be able to keep riya happy ..?may be not as he had not loved her from heart..that would be more hurtful for riya..

N that's why he choose to be with his love so that they could be happy n riya could also find happiness in her life..

He is already feeling guilty for riya..
