My personal position on the events since the last two days have been all over the place frankly. And I am disappointed out of both Sid and some Sid fans here, while completely aware of Sana’s shortcomings. I have had to run through my head of everything that has happened on the show since inception and this is where I stand for whatever it is worth:

1. Sid shall NEVER hurt Sana intentionally. As in, NEVER. Their bond is beyond what many people can ever understand. If Sana can use chappals at him, slap his face multiple times, bite him, pull his hair and tug him away, kick him where it hurts, slap and kick his butt and punch him on his biceps and stomach, then Sid can do the few microseconds of the hold yesterday. That is their brand of fun and masti. Sid would never be physically intimate in any level to this scale with any of other women. It’s their relationship that gives both of them the right to play around with each other’s bodies and that is their personal business. View it or switch channels. I have always compared their physical intimacy and bouting to pre- mating engagement whether people beyond this thread like to hear it or not and I shall stick to that.

So let’s not decide anything for Sana. Let’s not be her parents or in-laws. Let’s give importance to her voice. She never once said she was hurt from the physical action. She has always been physically capable of handling anything- she’s been a tomboy. So, let’s give her some credit and allow her the right over her body and voice and the right to complain and protest than heaping your bias and assumptions on her. She did cry over his words though and I shall come to that.

2. I am hurt at the emotional teasing. The girl has voiced her issues with being called jealous multiple times. My understanding is that she was accused of being jealous during the Himanshi scenario too and she sees a repeat happening and it’s a psychological trigger for her. And Mahira is the word associated with it by sheer repetition that Paras has inflicted on Sana from the very first week. Hearing it from Sid each time is the worst possible for her mental state. Sid obviously has no idea of the depth of the issue, but since she has been harping in it since two weeks, it should have been more than enough for him to desist. But then, he is not maturity incarnate nor emotionally super empathetic and he committed the gravest of errors not understanding the gravity of her trigger point.

3. Two things I am still struggling to understand:

a. Why hasn’t Sid still clarified WKV issues with Sana? Why didn’t he consider it important enough?

b. Why didn’t he rush to her and hold her when she began hurting herself? Maybe he thought it was drama too. I give him benefit of doubt.

I sincerely want Sana to take a break from the emotional dependency. She is deeply in love and possessive and yearning to hear it all from Sid too, but right now, some space would be truly good for both of them. For that both of them just need to play their own games.

In the meanwhile let both of them talk to whoever the heck they want to- Paras, Mahira, Aarti, Vishal, Rashmi, whoever, whatever! Let them both stop controlling each other for whatever reasons. It’s a mind game at the end of the day and handcuffing each other is as detrimental to mental health as the progress of love.

May he he wanted to but he did not go thinking she might get more angry. She was already hitting him and he knew things were out of control. But yes a tight hug would have been the best solution. Chal koi na ho jata hai
