At this point, I wonder how any half decent human cam mock what is happening to the students in JNU.

I mean , you know what's happening or not?

If you don't, read up.

If you do ,and you still choose to joke about their choice of paper(bravo, priorities) , then it's shameful.

They're being attacked. It's organised crime with sticks, stones and rods.

It's sad that I had to type it out.

Has anyone identified who the goons are? Identify them and deal with them firmly irrespective of their affiliations. That is a must. No body supports violence.

But if anyone (including students) justify/support outsiders that openly speak about the break up of India that, IMHO, is beyond tolerance. Unpardonable, especially if one is more interested in politicking rather than completing one's studies and moving out of the hostel.

Paying peanuts for their fees (as if it is their birthright!) and staying for years (spending more time on politics than on studies) is not justifiable by the "socially irrelevant" output they are giving through their "research".

Just tell me if writing a research paper on Savita Bhabhi is of relevance to society?

That's my POV.

Arresting the goons after the attack has taken place will not serve any purpose... I take it as an failure of real time intelligence... Any Force has its own sources of int . and info. and are generally aware of anti national elements in their locality...

Given the gravity of situation in JNU, the police should have been proactive rather than reactive.. Certain ruthless measures are required ... A softist approach towards the secessionist groups and pro paki groups has worsened the situation... We should have sent a firm message down by thrashing mercilessly those raising anti national slogans two years back.... We are paying the price today... Decency of the Forces has been taken as impotency by the goons....

The only question that needs to be asked is who will benefit form the JNU fiasco and this might the answer regarding the perpetrator's identity.
