Actually, this scene was more of a promise from Anurag to Prerna. You know how some people their hands on head for qasam, Anurag was doing the same with a promise.

@bold: yes, I see parents do that with their kids all the time. I would have preferred if Anu made that promise and then put his hand on Pre's shoulder or even held her hands as I don't see that as crossing limits. Not that putting his hand on her head was crossing limits but since in real life I've only seen that kind of stuff happen between parents and children, it felt weird to me.

Parents mostly do that for blessing not for promises. Others do it for promises 🤗
