I wonder why people participate in this show...what's the incentive? If you are an established celeb you're either expected to hulk out and expose the "dirty secrets" of your past or you are rebuked for not carrying your weight.

If you are a newcomer you are used as -

a) A sidekick to help further the narrative.

b) A comic relief.

c) A scapegoat for the host to ride a power trip.

The chosen few are showered with appreciation, feedback and favours while you watch from the sidelines. Plus often, regardless of your efforts, you are only competing for the second , third or fourth place.

So, why do people choose this show? Why do they agree to face the challenges + the bias + humiliation? What is the bloody point?
