Most people born before 1987 won't have one. But my point is this is stupid trying to get a birth certificate now woh bhi itna purana wala. They have no records and they can never issue one which will be accepted by authorities. People are wasting their time and money with this. Maybe being misled. why are the officials indulging in this is beyond me. I still remember during demonetisation times so many people lost their money only because they were told their money is of no use now but they can exchange with them for a discounted price and they got conned. I saw an old man crying on the street trying to exchange his 500 rupees and being cheated like that. I had to go and tell him the truth and exchanged his note. Again I remember how people died out of fear of being thrown out of the country in Assam. This is the same kind of fear spreading amongst people.

yes they can be of any religion, but my point is motive of NRC is driving away immigrant Muslims right? But they are much smarter, I mean nowadays there is a trend among Muslim immigrants in Meghalaya and Assam changed their name to Hindu or tribal names like Rabha, Koch and so on.
