Well this book is really personal for coolleen as well as me. This book is really for all women out there who face such situations. It resonates with me coz I've been through this.
Lily is me. Her father is my father. It was like someone was reframing my own story in their words. I cried so many times while reading this book.
Out of all the characters, I loved Atlas. I just truly loved him. The emotional confrontation Lily has with Atlas later in the book, it had my heart.
I really can't say more because even a tiny bit of it would spoil the book for you. This book is tragic yet beautiful and moreover connects with me on a personal level. But I can't forgive Ryle like Lily did.
It's actually an emotional rollercoaster ride. So be prepared if you go for this book. ❤️

Yes, I've read the book twice. Once when it was released and the next when I took it as a topic for a journal. I agree the book is an emotional rollercoaster. I can completely understand you!
