From the whole epic love story of SidNaaz, I have understood the following so far.

Shehnaaz does truly care for Shukla in her own silly way. But she definitely doesn't want anything long term to do with him. Yeh aasman mein khuli udaan bharne wali parinda hain, she'll be too suffocated with in a relationship.

Shukla likes her and that shows and he probably knows he doesn't have too much scope in the relationship department toh yeh ek bawri mil gayi hain, isko pakad ke rakho. But given his extremely problematic personality traits, it's hard for any woman (let alone someone like Shehnaaz) to sustain a healthy relationship with him. That way, Aarti would suit him better as she's besotted by him entirely. Yeh iske saath, iske hisaab se reh legi.

Yeh saara baaki ka jo yeh nautanki kar rahein hain yeh dono show mein, some might find it cute (I don't know how though) but it personally freezes my brain. 🤪
