Well this show and support this man gets and whitewashing done by colors and SK all tell you one thing that why Our country has a massive problem of violence against women!

Rashmi was so wrong on so many things yesterday - her language, abuses, throwing tea that she could have even been evicted for all those actions and words.

But she was bashed over standing up for her dignity. Even if SK didn’t want to bash Sid he could have just said be careful with what you say coz even if you meant it or not it can imply to have a very bad meaning. That’s all!

But no they twist and change the whole thing- and for me I felt these are all the things that further and strengthen she’s asking for it mentality and rape culture over all.

We can deny it as much as we want but we do have a lot of impressionistic people who learn things and values from tv and movies and yes somewhere they have the creative freedom ( fictional) but this is a reality show- some onus of it should be on the channel to not promote such antecedent regressive mindset in this day and age.

This reminded me of a dialogue in Mardaani 2 where the rapist says Aurat ko uski aukaat mein rehna chahiye🤔

I remember children saying we want to become chor ....courtesy Dhoom movies.

Salman is the epitome of humanity.

Bang on post!!

I too wonder sometimes that to what future we are moving!!

And then shows like this tops trps!! Kabir Singh is a blockbuster which was a total rubbish movie not for being misogynistic only but promoting drugs, alcohol and what not! Shahid is a good actor but that doesn't give movie a free pass!

Salman who had driven over people and took lives of many is treated like a God!

And movies like lipstick under my burkha , shows like Ted talks Satyamev Jayate etc are not even acknowledged half of these shits by commercial market!

Bcoz jo dikhta hai wo bikta h!

Sweetheart the problem is not that who was more wrong. They were both wrong and like I said in my post with what RD did and said - throwing tea and abusing is horrible and had she even been evicted for it, it would have been fine! She needed to be bashed badly for her actions and words but not on what she got bashed for.

All that SK needed to do was tell Sid that you said something, no matter how you meant it to Shouldn’t have said it like that as it can have a very wrong implication also. That’s all!

But sidelining and saying he meant it in a good way is the problem. This is what encourages she’s asking for it mentality, victim blaming and rape culture and yes a show set in India hosted by the biggest super star of the country needs to have onus for their actions and words.

I’m not even saying SK needed to bash Shukla. All he needed to say was don’t say things like that, be careful with your words instead of blaming RD for misunderstanding them.

The sad part is that a lot of women over here are supporters of this misogynist and bully. This is what I don't understand. He is arrogant, brash, rude, badtameez towards women and yet garners so much attention and sympathy from the very gender he is abusing day in and day out. UNBELIEVABLE!!!

PS: BTW the producer of Kabir Singh (Pranay Vanga) is a friend!!! When I saw the movie I was telling my wife that I am not sure why this movie became such a huge hit when it is nothing but terrible. I mean when you show heroes do things like that then you are somehow justifying all the wrongs that men do in the name of passion and emotions.
