What I feel is this Rani is here to claim her rights in Sippy's property/money. Maybe Naren married her (is that possible?). Is it possible to claim property/money rights from the Sippy's because she is the mother of Naren's child? . She used Sona to get to Pooja and now will use Pooja to get her way with the above. Maybe she did try to do this before too, but Rohit stopped her, which is why he was threatening her.

I feel makers are gonna make Sona go into another CID mode and find out Rani's motive and save Sippy's from Rani jaal. This way maybe they will redeem whatever Sona did.
