As much as I dislike Mahira, I always feel all she wanted from Asim was to be with her. But since she was with Paras and hated Sid it was not possible.

See even after he tore her letter, but said sorry, he was like u forgive me? She nodded in an instant. She didn't nominate him for jail, didn't give him 0 tag or nominate him yday which she could have with good reason.

Kala dil she gave bcoz it was him or Vishal.

So i feel Mahira defo. Had a soft corner for him always.

Yep, shes actually holding some of her positive thoughts in the fear of what Paras would do or say to her. Shes basically banking on Paras as her life line to the show and doesnt want to break that support.

That actually started a week before that hand holding nomination task and she was openly refusing to torture him & said he's my friend. But that went downhill for the reasons I mentioned b4. When Asim was with Sid, he picked up that notion of not talking to other side, which was wrong and he has matured now more than his initial 4 weeks. Now you can see him reaching out to others, specially after his fight with ShefaliZ. I wish he did it before despite his differences with Paras. Then they could have a better bond. But alright better late than never. 😊

It shows so much growth in Asim after moving away from Thukla.

Hes Just a real person whos straightforward and doesnt hold anything back. I like this Asim a lot more rn. 😎

Ya but I feel Mahira likes being pampered and Asim doesn’t do that at all for her.

also in an unseen where Devo is teaching them Bihu dance steps, Asim is learning from Paras also but denies when Mahira says something and Mahira says ‘ Tu har kissi ki baat maanta hai bas mujhe manna karta hai.’

Then Paras also urges Asim and he dances again

Yes I agree with this. Asim in the initial weeks had a temper and even he didn't try to form a bond with Mahira. It was always Sid for him at the topmost priority irrespective of whatsoever reason. For same reason he could never bond with Rashmi either.

Even Mahira didn't help much. I remember Mahira was calling him ehsaan faramosh etc after that task, just bcoz Asim wasn't taking her side. For Asim it was like support Sid or Mahira. So obvio he sided Sid. As Mahira would never support Asim over Paras.

I think they shud have kept the task away from their relationship,then it would have bloomed.

I think Asim hated it when Mahira called him her brother🤣 I am sure even Mahira regretted it later. Whenever the word, 'bhai' was mentioned to him, he either got angry or became sarcastic 😆

Even when he hugged on her birthday,he specifically said 'your friend'😆

See romantic angle chahe na ho, but that doesn't mean sibbling hi bana do lol
