Kahaan Hum Kahaan Tum the Star Plus show produced by Sandiip Sikcand and SOL Films has gotten into the new phase of the post marriage life of our very dear Rohit (Karan V Grover) and Sonakshi (Dipika Kakar).

Life is not a bed of roses for the real life bahu who has played the part in reel life to perfection.

We at IWMBuzz.com had a quick chat with Producer Sandiip Sikcand on the new phase in the show and the intricate complications that Rohit and Sonakshi will have to ward off to lead a happy life.

Says Sandiip, “In a daily soap, the marriage of the heroine is a big high point that will open up a new chapter. We have been looking forward to this change in the show. We had managed to not do the wedding for the first five months in Kahaan Hum Kahaan Tum. This was a good achievement. And now post marriage, we will see the challenge before Sonakshi as to whether she will be able to play the ideal bahu she has played in ‘Kahani Parvati Ki’ in her real life Sippy family too.”

“This will be an important chapter in Sonakshi’s life. We say that we are all very progressive and adapt to the modern approach. But the fact in all households is that they expect from their daughter-in-law, what they don’t expect from their daughters. So the idea is to get into a lot of realism and focus on the prevailing issues in every household. Eventually going by the pre-requisites that the television scenario demands, there will be drama woven around it. But what will come out of the drama will be realistic issues dealt in a very realistic manner.”

The romance of the Jodi #Ronakshi, that is Rohit and Sonakshi has always been the talking point in the show. “The bonding of Rohit and Sonakshi which has always been very beautiful will grow and bloom. Romance is an important element in the show and we will give viewers what they want.”

Talking in depth on the complex situations that Rohit and Sonakshi will find themselves in, Sandiip avers, “Basically, Rohit is a doctor and his approach to life is very realistic and practical. Sonakshi is an actress and is used to such things. For her, the problem lies in the fact that she is seeing all that she has done in her soaps. So the practicality of Rohit and the emotional quotient in Sonakshi will be tested with time. And it is to be seen how to go through their marital life amidst all that happens. Of course, we will have twists and turns to keep the story engaging. We will surely keep the humour going and the romance going in addition to playing on the drama element.”

Tell him that the nok-jhok, cuteness as well as the romance of Rohit and Sonakshi is simply being loved by viewers and he states, “Of course!! Every episode has quite a lot happening between Rohit and Sonakshi. We have fights and even the coming together of Rohit and Sonakshi. Kahaan Hum Kahaan Tum basically belongs to Rohit and Sonakshi. They are the heart beats of the show. Credit for the amazing dialogues for them goes to Niranjan Iyer our dialogue writer. He has done an amazing job. The very fact why we took Niranjan was because he writes with the understanding of relationships.”

On the track ahead, he stresses again, “We all want our daughters-in-law to be perfect. But how perfect are the in-laws for the daughter-in-law is never questioned. So we look at this problem from a different point of view. The challenge for Sonakshi is whether she will get even better than Parvati in Kahaani Parvati Ki. She needs be to be more adjusting and able to sort her life well. Also, the role of Rohit in all this will be very important. Nobody will tell the man to quit the job and handle home. It is always the woman who is told that. So the challenge before Sonakshi will be to stick on to her profession even while she handles her home.”

Well, interesting days are surely ahead for Rohit and Sonakshi in Kahaan Hum Kahaan Tum.

I must say each and every line in this IV gave that realistic feel.. Sikku just nailed this iv.. I always wanted to know the name of this shows dialogue writer and he himself took his name. He is doing a great job
