NAVYA- wow this is so beautiful...

Navya breathed. They were working on the interiors of his hotel, like they had been doing since the last two months and it was turning out beautifully, just like their relationship. They met every day, working together on designs and throwing around ideas, for hours in a row. They met each other the first thing in the morning, worked together all day, had every meal together and bid each other goodnight and went to their respective homes. It could not have been any better.

NAVYA- .'I think mahogany really works better with the background, don't you think?'

she tilted her head to her side and gazed up at him.

ANANT- 'I have to agree,'

He smiled. He was used to her enthusiasm. It had become a way of life for him.

NAVYA- 'But I still think that your smile is more beautiful. You should do it more often.'

ANANT- 'Ha-ha-ha. Now, if you're done, let's go have something to eat. It's already very late.'

NAVYA- 'Actually, you go ahead. I have to head back home for something,'

Navya made an apologetic face

ANANT- what is something?

NAVYA- 'Just ... have to check up on my dad. He wasn't feeling well this morning, so...'

ANANT- why what happened?

NAVYA- nothing... Just a little fever...

ANANT- 'Okay, then. Take care.'

He pecked her at her lips and asked her to meet at night with ranbir and ritika. She hugged him tightly for a second then ran to her car. She was always like that-runningshouting-jumping when a regular person would just walkexclaim-smile instead. He loved her for her dynamism and vivacity. Her animation was just one of the many things he had gotten addicted to. Ever since she had come into his life, she had changed its meaning. In the beginning, he had struggled to let go, owing to his reservations. But once he had decided to let go, a whole new world had opened up to him. From behind the mask of a calm sophisticated businessman, the real Anant had emerged. His earnings had brought him satisfaction, but he had never felt peaceful. Navya bought him peace...

ADITYA- so mahogany sir?

Aditya asked, notepad in hands, and a smile on his face. Anant grin at him.

ANANT- ofcourse..'And is appy still here?'

APPY- yes I'm...

Appy stepped ahead, a notepad in her hands, too.

ANANT- 'Could you come with me for a second? We need to discuss the dimensions of the reception hall. I think we need to get rid of the north wall to extend the area ...'

APPY- 'That's a good idea. But if I can suggest something-I feel we should keep a separate waiting area, if we are keeping a big reception hall. Not completely partitioned, just to this height,'

She mentioned and anant looks at her..

ANANT- 'Hmm. Let me think about it and run it through navya once. Meanwhile, show me the kitchen designs again?'

They started to discuss detailed plans about the kitchen space and Anant found himself losing his concentration over and over again. He kept wondering what navya would think of the idea, what she would suggest. In a very short time, he had become excessively dependent on her. He liked the feeling of sharing responsibilities, ideas, thoughts and love with another person. She was his first friend in a long time. She was his one true love.

Anant was waiting for navya in his car outside her apartment. His eyes falls on her coming dressed in blue color dress.. she sat beside him and gave him a smile.

ANANT- nice Dress... You look beautiful..

NAVYA- thanks. Tum bhi thk hi lag rahe ho..

Anant nodded his head and moves towards her.

ANANT- so let's drop the plan to catch up with ranbir and ritika and directly move towards my place. What's say,?

Smirk anant and navya pushed him..

NAVYA- no ways... It's weeks that I've not met ritika. All because of you.. you friendship breaker...

Anant laughs at her and started his car.

ANANT- so how's Dad?

NAVYA- fine now. Doctor asked him to rest for 2-3 days..

ANANT- so you're planning to take off?

NAVYA- may I ? Please

Asked navya with a puppy face

ANANT- you know I can't imagine an hour also without you..

Navya smile and nodded in disbelief

ANANT- but since it's your dad's health... You should be with him...

Navya gave a bright smile and kissed him at his cheeks.

ANANT- I'm driving navya...

NAVYA- so what? You do your work.. let me do mine...

Said navya moving her finger near his lap... He felt goosebumps

ANANT- ok.... You just wait..... I'll show you my real work when we're together..

Navya laughs at him. They reached at their destination where ranbir and ritika were waiting for them..

RANBIR- love really changes everything. We used to wait for navya like this... And you Mr punctual... Look at yourself.. late hone ki adat tujhe bhi ho gayi he...

Said ranbir keeping his hand on his waist and showing anger.

NAVYA- shut up... Don't start again now...

RITIKA- literally I'm too hungry... Let's get in and have something...

All four of them move inside to have their dinner...

Ritika visited navya's home to check the health of Deepak..

DEEPAK- are I'm not bedridden or something like that...

RITIKA- come on uncle.. you please get well soon..

Smiled Deepak and ritika left him to have a rest for sometime..

MEETA- you both be there at navya's room.. I'll bring some refreshments

RITIKA- so sweet of you aunty..

Navya and Ritika were in navya's room

NAVYA- so how's office? Yesterday we met after so long but didn't had a lone time because of our respective boyfriends.. I'm sure you have to share a lot of gossips

RITIKA- no no no... This question goes to you actually... You have to tell me about you and anant...

Smirks ritika.. navya smilr at her. Meeta brings some sandwiches and coffee for both the girls and left them alone.

NAVYA- everything is known to you ritika..

RITIKA- navya... You are seriously into this relationship ryt... I mean... You..... You both.... Love....

Tried to ask ritika..

NAVYA- ofcourse I love him ritika. We are into physical relationship and you know I'm not that open girl who will just hook up with anyone without the "feeling"

RITIKA - great.... And what about anant?

Said navya having her coffee..

RITIKA- ya it's ok baba... But.. did he officially said those words to you?

Navya looks at her and goes in thoughts

RITIKA- listen... Please don't get me wrong. You once told me about anant's past love life. And his promise that he will never ever believe any girl.. ain't it?

Navya nodded her head in agreement.

RITIKA- so as he fall for you, he has to say it na... You are very much into this relationship... But what about him?? He's very rich and famous personality navya. We are normal people. Agar kuch aisa waisa hogaya to..... Isliye better you clear with him if he wants to get married or not..

Ritika's words makes navya to think. She had a sip of her coffee

NAVYA- and what if he's not ready now but says will think about it in near future?

RITIKA- Then it's your decision.

RITIKA- if you trust and believe him then it's ok. But if you have a doubt then please rethink. You said you are in physical relationship... Please be aware

Ritika makes navya understand and she thinks about the matter carefully...

Anant and navya were at anant's home sleeping in each other's arms. Anant was playing with navya's hair while navya was thinking about what ritika discussed with her.

ANANT- what happened? Today you seems to be low?

Navya looks at him and smile lightly

NAVYA- no... It's nothing like that.

ANANT- come on... You know I can catch your 'something happened' look

Anant tried to ask more. Navya gets up and wears anant's shirt which was fallen near her. Anant smiles at her

ANANT- this scene is perfect. You know when a boy is bare body lying besides his girlfriend who is wearing his shirt. It looks so good...

Saying anant pulls her towards him. He gave a light kiss at corner of her lips .

NAVYA- anant....

ANANT- yes... What's wrong?

Anant tried to ask her what was wrong again, but she didn't say anything.He had never thought he would see navya bothered about something. He had never seen her so worried or panicked or sad. She was always the cheerful, annoyingly happy one. The light of his life.

ANANT- navya..... Baby please.... Please tell me what's bothering you...

He held her hands and pulled her up, into his embrace. He hugged her tightly and told her it was all going to be okay, even though he did not even know what had happened. She pulled back, trying to say something

NAVYA- why didn't you proposed me?

Anant looks at her in amusement. He did not said anything. He makes her away a little and gets up from bed. He pulls his pants up and move towards the window. Navya looks confused.

NAVYA- what happened? Don't you have to say anything?

ANANT- What should I say? Is there a need to say anything?

Anant sounds little rude. Navya gets up and moved towards him

NAVYA- what does that mean? You're serious about us ryt?

Anant looks at her

ANANT- do I really need to answer this? You don't know the truth?

NAVYA- why are you cross questioning each time I'm asking you something...

Anant looks away...navya looks frustrated. She was getting fear about what ritika told her.. she was getting bad influence

ANANT- please don't stare like this... I know what's cooking into your mind

NAVYA- you just needed someone to console you ryt... You wanted someone physically...

ANANT- what rubbish... How can you think like that navya..

NAVYA- then what's the problem in saying that you love me? That you want to marry me?

ANANT- I need some time.. please let me think....

Navya nodded in disbelief. She took her clothes and went in washroom to change. She came back and groom herself once looking at mirror. Anant closed his eyes in frustration

ANANT- navya please.... What's wrong Yar? Time hi to manga na... Am I asking you to break up?

NAVYA- tum ladko ka ye acha he... Bed pe le Jane ke liye time nahi lagta... But when asked about marriage and commitment, tum logo ko achanak duniya bhar ka time chahiye.... Great

Anant moves towards her and holds her by arms

ANANT- aisa nahi he baby... Please try and understand. You know about my past. That time I took decisions in a hurry. But I don't want anything to go wrong between us.

NAVYA- fine... Take your own time.. and the next time you call me is when you'll take your decision. Till then... Don't talk with me...

Navya free herself, took her bag and left from there. Anant kept on looking at her.

NAVYA- dad.. what happened...?? Are you ok??

Navya was continuously calling Deepak who has felt unconscious. Meeta was wondering what has happened to him. He was not well from last so many days. But they thought it was just a normal fever as such. They took him to the hospital. Navya, meeta along with navita and gaurav were waiting for doctor's words for Deepak. A middle age doctor came near them.

DOCTOR- please come in my cabin

They all went in the chamber. Meeta and gaurav sat in front of the doctor while navya and navita were standing beside them.

MEETA- what happened doctor?

DOCTOR - Mr Mishra have been diagnosed with grade 1 type of brain tumour

This statement made everyone shocked. Meeta suddenly started crying while navita pacifies her. Navya was shocked

DOCTOR- please don't get so panic. It's in early stage. We can cure it by surgery

GAURAV- surgery as in operation for it's removal ryt?

DOCTOR - ya. The tumour is of little size hence it will be removed through nostril. It's called as endoscopic surgery.

NAVITA- what are the procedures Dr?

DOCTOR- we've to perform endoscopic as early as possible. There may not be any after effects or side effects after surgery since the tumour is of minor diameter. But regular medications and diagnosis will be required for life long

Meeta was continuously sobbing while navya was still in shock thinking about the situation

DOCTOR- take this for you. And fill the operation form at reception. We will start surgery tomorrow

Doctor hands over a file to navya. All of them left from the cabin. Navya looks at the file and the cost of surgery with medications.

NAVYA- 5 lakhs for surgery..??

She was looking disturbed. Gaurav came near her

GAURAV - navya.. what happened

NAVYA- jiju... Surgery cost upto 5 lakhs. And other treatments and medication, it will be moving around 8 lakhs...

GAURAV- papa have health insurance?

NAVYA- not currently.. he didn't renewed it last year

Gaurav closed his eyes in frustration.

GAURAV- I have upto 2 lakhs in my account..

NAVYA- no jiju.. aap nahi... We can't take it from you...

GAURAV- come on navya. It's not the time for these things. I can arrange upto 2 lakhs. What about rest?

NAVYA- I have 2 lakhs with me... Rest.... I don't know from where we will manage

Navya said thinking about the situation.

NAVYA- jiju... You be with ma... I'll be back in sometime

She handed the file to gaurav and left from there. She drove her car to her apartment. She directly goes in her room and checked her bank passbooks. All maximum she was having is the amount of 2 lakhs.. she went in deepak's room.. she checked his bank details, FD and other deposit which have maximum of 1 lakh..

NAVYA- no... I can't take this... Puri savings khatam hogayi to papa ke after treatment ke liye bilkul bhi paise nahi rahenge...

She falls on her knees and cried on her situation. .

Said anant in frustration to ranbir. They were in Ranbir's home

RANBIR - come on anant... What's a big deal? If you love her and want her in your life then what is the problem in commitment

ANANT- I am not sure about it ranbir. Yes I do love her.. I mean i love spending time with her. I love her company. But.... For life long.... I am not sure about that

Ranbir nodded his head in disbelief

ANANT- and you too. . Is going to Singapore for 5 months.. leaving me like this.

RANBIR- you are saying this? You???

Laughs ranbir.. anant looks at him in frustration

RANBIR- I'm going for work anant .. Kya karu? Naukri he... employee hu... Apke jaisi company ka boss nahi. . have to follow my boss

ANANT- stupid job you have...

RANBIR- jokes apart... Please think about your relationship seriously anant. Navya bht achi ladki he.. and she have proved this by fighting with you.. she's not Sonia.. trust her

ANANT- I promise you.. I'll surely think about this

Anant makes a promise to think about his relationship with navya and give them a chance...

Saying navya disconnect the call.. she thought about anant for a moment. She was thinking to call him and inform but brushes off her thoughts thinking about their fight and what if anant have decided to break up with her. The other thought occupied her mind was about the remaining amount and from where did she will manage it.
