There were rumours going around on twitter that the letter was sent by Rashami's brother exposing Arhaan. If this is true, I think Vikas is told by BB ki Rashami ko baahar ki baatein na pata chala. That's why he shredded her letter. And, may be that's Arhaan also didn't protect her letter because woh nahi chahta ki Rashami ko uske loan wale fraud ke baare mein pata chale.
