Everyone knows I like RS more than DP. Heck, I like many other actresses - in ACTING- more than I do DP (although I do think DP is beautiful and quite a good actress).

Yet I cannot stay here and bash DP if I like the trailer and I like what I see. Period.

Fanwars are constant here. I just think some movies are truly woth forgetting such petty stuff.

I feel this movie will be REALLY REALLy good.

Constant. It actually makes the forum far less enjoyable that it can be. Terrible pettiness, and over what, a star? Sigh.

Good trailer. Enough to get people up their behinds and into the theatres to watch it. Hope it resonates, because God knows this is a subject that needs public sentiment overwhelmingly behind it to get any kind of government action. And action is badly needed.

This turned out underwhelming. I hope the movie is as well made as Raazi.

This is a commercial Bollywood movie , so people expecting artsy flavor should understand it is not catering to a select few for festivals.

I hope people rise above their hate for DP and come together to support a worthy cause.

Nobody expects an artsy movie, it's just bitterness towards Deepika...

As i mentioned earlier in another thread, people talking at length about feminism, women and the issues they face, have easily s**t-shamed, body-shamed and age-shamed deepika and continue to do it without any remorse

Even Rangoli is supporting the movie . Says something about the rest . RANGOLI

My comment was about people making unnecessary comments to pull down DP and movie .

TBH I thought it would be a more dramatically cut trailer, and wouldn't have minded that, but I like the fact that how the makers showcased the girl being bigger than her trauma.

DP is set to give performance of a lifetime, the scene where she flinches after seeing a child getting scared of her and shrieking, hits hard.

My eyes welled up. Definitely watching it.

Same! I don’t care the acting wacting, but just the mere fact that this is not some fiction and that this is someone’s reality makes me shudder every time I come across such a thing even in a passing reference and here they have made a whole movie based upon it...Hope it works and if it changes even one person’s mind from not doing it and helps even one acid attack victim draw some inspiration out of Laxmi’s life, the movie would’ve surely served its purpose!
