The trailer is good . As the storyline is familiar no surprises but still it is interesting.

They took Lakshmi’s life story and in some sequence Deepika looks like her too.

This will give hope, courage and acceptance that these women deserve.

So Proud of Deepika for choosing to do this and nailing it and meghna for choosing to make this movie.

Yes I realized that in Padmaavat. She was everything in the last 10 minutes..that Jauhar walk! Her body language, her eyes, her towering persona..her screen presence - excellent..she does so well when she doesnt have to talk. but when she opens her mouth

The trailer is not cut to lure first day first show audiences. There is noise. There is chaos. There is confusion. But it also has a beating heart and clarity too. Liked it. Deepika embodied Malti. From her shock to the triumph there was a gradual acceptance and she conveyed it beautifully. Kudos to clover for the excellent and realistic make up. Meghna for her solid conviction and execution. Vikrant for bringing the stillness to the chaos and Deepika for her courage.
