@Atiyya and Neha, thanks! The reason I asked was, I know cases where people had typhoid and in some, others living the house got infected too. I was wondering why are they letting Paras and Shukla sleep on the same bed, eat together and basically, allowing close physical proximity.

From what I understand, it is contagious. And given how many of them share that house, kitchen, facilities . Likes, dislikes aside - it’s pathetic of the makers to keep Shukla in the house or SR with typhoid. Should have sent him out once diagnosed.
