I don't understand one thing. Even if the photos are published after 8, the pics would still show that they were taken in daytime, right? And the actual awards were given after midnight. So how would waiting till 8 help?

But what's wrong in that..the paps n organisers would anyways be there..if the arrangement works out for all usme dikkat kya hai?
Did they take away any special privilege from us or anybody else? She was anyways getting the award
She obviously wasn't going to come because she was busy at that time so they worked it out that she could come get it earlier. It doesn't help her at all. The only people it helps are the organizers and the channel because they can show that one celebrity was there by inserting some clips of her. There were barely 2 real celebs at that awards show. They needed Alia to help make it look a little better.
She should learn her lesson from this. It would be privilege if she was gaining something from coming in early to get her award. What does she get? Nothing.
Repeating my comment

And there is nothing like they needed her and she doesn't need them..lol...it's a perfectly symbiotic relationship...

No, awards are not given ahead of time, they are given only after they are announced on the event day which is collected by someone on behalf of them. Then they go to their place and record a video and keep it ready in time for telecast and only that's when it's played for the TV vieweing audience since telecast is usually almost after a month from event. Talking about Indian award functions though
Good to know. I thought they got them ahead of time. But anyway, Indian awards are like People's Choice awards as it is. The "winners" already know they are winning so they come and pick up the award. It's not a surprise to anyone. That's why other nominees don't attend the way everyone does in awards shows across the world.

maybe they just wanted to let it out once the ceremony started.. together with other awards n pics..

So how is she privileged? You're acting like they're doing her a favor for no reason at all. They're doing something that helps them too.
What does privilege have to do with it? She's a star kid like half the others there. I mean Sara got some kind of debut award when she debuted over a year ago and doesn't even fit the time frame. Then she claimed herself she got it for Simba!! For what? What did she do in Simba that deserved an award?
The whole thing was a joke but you're laser-focused on Alia as if she got something special for no reason. They worked it out with her because they obviously wanted her there.
I’m sure this kind of arrangement is made for actors all the time. These winners are known in advance anyway so even that part isn’t a shocker anymore. What is kind of shocking is that these photographers (or was it just one photographer?) was actually waiting for Alia at what looks like a back entrance to capture her leaving early with her award. Why weren’t the organizers more careful? And why was Alia so nonchalant about it? And how did the photographer know to be there that early?
